The work seemed okay enough when it was done. However, 6 months later a crack appeared. My garage door was also severely damaged from the workers (which I was going to let go except I decided to pursue when the crack appeared.) After an inordinate amount of my calling with no real response from him other than he would come out and see, which he never did- I finally reported him to the BBB. He then finally responded to me and came out. After seeing what I was complaining about he left with no way of resolving the mater. After many many calls again, (he would say he would come out again, or that he would do something about it - but never did) he finally agreed to pay for damage to garage door, and actually did after I called many ,many times.. He said there was nothing he could do about the crack until it got warm again. After it got warm again I began calling endlessly , he would say he would come , setting up times and then not showing. After pursuing him with many calls again he came and would not take responsiblity for the crack or for fixing it. After consulting with other cement companies to redo the steps I discovered even more disturbing work, the steps where not the same size and some areas of walkway drained toward the home instead of away. We began our cat and mouse chase again with me calling him and he avoiding me. He eventually said he would saw cut part away the crack and redo that small area.. I did not find this an acceptable solution for I redid my steps to have a unified walkway to my home , it would not correct the uneven steps or correct the draining of water toward home. I also did not trust him anymore and did not want him doing any work at my home. (I also do not believe he would have ever have shown up to do the work). I asked him to pay part of having another company redo the walk ($700.00, new walk would cost me about $1600.00, he agreed but again never followed through.) I again reported him to the BBB, and there has been no resolution. This is not a responsible business man.
