Great, they were very quick to respond on Angie's list and got the work completed within a few days of my initial request. I like that the communication was all electronic and the invoice was sent to my email. Very efficient. We will use the provider again.

EXCELLENT I have used Handyman Matters for several projects. I can not adequately express my satisfaction with their services in words. I would HIGHLY recommend them. From first contact to the completion of the project they have been wonderful to work with. The administrative side of their business is highly responsive and very professional. The work has been completed in a professional and impeccable manner. With each project they have exceeded my expectations and make home projects easy! I will be calling them for future projects with continued confidence.

It went VERY well. Greg (works in Minneapolis area) needed to modify the butterfly damper to make it fit. He went to hardware store to get parts need for modification. New range hood works very well now. I wasn't sure he would be able to make the 2 fragments of molding work. He glued them together, clamped them, and let them bond. Then installed them where molding was missing. Now baseboard molding looks perfect. GREG IS A PROBLEM SOLVER. He is also a careful worker. He removed the old shelving, which was quite long. When I carried them downstairs for sawing outside, he was very careful not to mar the new paint job on the stairwell. He hung the paintings precisely, taking measurements so the paintings were centered vertically on the wall exactly as I wanted. He is also very neat. He disposed of everything in the dumpster or recycling bins and left no trace of sawdust on the front wall. He is also a fast worker--the whole project took 3.5 hours, including the trip to get parts to modify the butterfly damper.

Great! Initially contacted via Angie's list. Called them back to schedule for Friday at 11. At 11 on Friday - Greg arrived. We did a quick walk-thru of what I wanted done and then we got to work. He was efficient, helpful - offered advice & solutions. Between the 2 of us we got all the framing cut, out of the basement, and in the dumpster in a couple of hours. He asked if I wanted help loading in the dumpster - giving me the option to do it myself or pay for the help which I appreciated. I'd definitely hire again.

Went fine. I wasn't present when the work was completed but the reports all indicated the service was done very satisfactorily.

They were very professional and came on time and gave a courtesy call. They were backed up a few weeks for appointments, but the work was done quickly and professionally and was worth waiting for.

I cannot say enough for them. Fast professional, no nonsense, great work, and they left the house cleaner than when they started. Myriad repairs: replacing redwood steps; broken frame on window; drywall and plastering; replacing a wooden ceiling on the front entry way; replacing sash cords and molding. There seems to be no task that they couldn't handle. They get booked up quickly, but these guys are well worth the wait.

horrible--handyman never showed up and when I called the office they said he was scheduled for the following day. Her mistake--but I had to take a vacation day. Not reliable and very unprofessional. I made the appointment three weeks ago and had it written down so office staff needs to work on scheduling properly.

A very talented person did the work. Very courteous and quiet. He went about doing the service. He knew exactly on how to tackle the problem and he did a good job.

Craig completed a small closet build I had started years ago. Craig finished framing and installing drywall to complete the build. Mud & taped the drywall to a finish I could paint. He also repairs several small & large holes in plaster & drywall. Craig installed headers & casing around 4 different doorways in my living room, dining room, & foyer area. Craig was on time, clean, & professional about his work. We had new floors installed along side of the work Craig was completing, he was sure to protect the new floors and was excellent about working around the floor installers. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend Handyman Matters to others and plan to use them for future projects.

It went extremely well. The handyman was always on time, courteous and very good at the jobs that I had contracted for. Reasonable rates for the jobs. In addition, I talked to the owner app out some remodeling in my basement. He sent another contracted to estimate the job and provide me with a bid. Talked to the owner and he told me that what I wanted to do was very expensive, would not not enough value to my home to make it a good investment since I am not plannng in staying long enough to use and enjoy. He was very honest and straightforward me. I will continue to call this company when I need work done and will recommend them to others.

I called their main line on Friday evening. I have details of my work. The lady said that someone would call within 48 working hours.it is Thursday today, almost a week since my call, I have not received any call yet

Day 1-repaired the wall and looked at the cabinets to be installed. Day 2-installed the cabinets. The cabinets were in the basement and my mother had to help him carry and hang the cabinets. The cabinets appeared to look good. When the granite guys came to install the granite, however, the countertops were no where close to level. The good part is that when I called they were able to get someone out in a relatively quick manner to fix the problem. On this visit, I was told that my floors were uneven and that was why the cabinets weren't level. He worked and was frustrated but proclaimed them level. The second time the granite guys came to install the granite, three days after the cabinets were leveled, guess what????? Still not level. The installers this time fixed the problem themselves, with relative ease. So my review is really a mixed bag and very frustrating.

Mostly awesome. I got an email that I'd get a call from Craig the night before to verify the job and to figure out if I'd need any supplies for the work. I didn't get that call and I knew I'd need some trim for the new door. The morning of the job, the handyman was scheduled for 10:30 and showed up at 9:30 hoping he could start early. The meeting I'd had scheduled that morning was cancelled the day before so it turned out to be OK but I think I would have liked a call. Anyway, I carefully explained what needed to happen with the door installation (I'd talked through it was a friend who was handy just not available, so I knew pretty well what needed to be done), including the extra tasks (install strike plate on another door, adjust interior doors) if he had time. Then I helped Craig carry the new door from the garage to the area where we were replacing the door. All good. I had previously measured and I knew the new door was about an inch and a half deeper than the existing door, that some floor tile would have to be cut to make room for the new threshold and that we would need extra trim. I was also having Craig install a new handle and deadbolt on the new door. The work went very well. Craig realized he needed to get the extra trim pieces, plus a threshold transition piece, and he thankfully did that before he took the old door out, so he went to a hardware store to get them--I didn't even ask where--he knew what he needed. I worked down in the basement on my laptop. Craig did an excellent job of preserving the old door jam and door, so I'll try to donate it because it is in good shape. The new door jam and door looks like it was installed correctly with no issues. Craig installed the new strike plate and handle and deadbolt correctly. He checked in with me on one or two small things, but for the most part, I worked, he worked, and he did a fantastic job cleaning up after himself. Craig did the extra tasks I'd explained without checking in again before he started--and he did good work. I'm super happy with the results. I expected the call ahead of time to coordinate the materials because I got the email stating I would, and Craig showed up early but did a great job. I'll certainly hire this company again and will request Craig if he is available.

Excellent! My call to HandyMan Matters was promptly returned by Erin and due to another customer cancelling, I was scheduled in the next day! Craig arrived exactly at the appointment time. He listened to what I had to tell him and went right to work. My appointment time was originally planned for 3+ hours but Craig finished in two. The work was done well. I will definitely hire this service again. It couldn't have gone any better.

These people are awesome! The handyman was right on time and did a great job on the project. The scheduling was very easy as, unlike many handyman services, they have someone answering calls during business hours. They also followed up with a survey on the services provided. I will definately call them again!

They were professional. The price seemed reasonable to me.

I found them through Angie's List. They were great. The quality of the work stood out, and the fact that they ran into some problems that were not anticipated, and they said they would have to re-bill the job. They found some actual rot in the frame of the breezeway, and so they came back with a bid, and the bid was $140 more than the original bid. They did it quickly, and professionally.
