Everything from start to finish was great! Our quote was changed a couple of times based upon some different things we wanted done, they were very flexible. The cost at the end of the day was UNDER what we expected to spend. The windows look great and the crew that installed them was very clean and efficient.

This was done per my instruction during the winter months because I didn't want my garden to suffer a season, which would happen during the summer no matter how careful. They did this during the worst weather possible in February 2019! YEP! They were here everyday including Sat and Sun. They wanted to tighten this up as fast as possible. This crew worked incredibly fast, carefully and with respect. The follow up was incredible. TCS exceeded my expectations is SO MANY WAYS. Would not hire anyone else!!

Twin Cities Siding Professionals (TCSP) genuinely impressed me with how they conducted themselves throughout our process. They were extremely helpful and genuinely invested in helping us complete our project. I can not recommend them enough. Everyone I spoke to conveyed the kind of pride that comes a well earned reputation, and that alone was enough for me to immediately trust in the team over at TCSP.

TCSP is a company you can trust. I felt that they cared about my project from start to finish, but what really impressed me was their high standards. After they started putting on the siding, our foreman (Craig) noticed some imperfections in the materials. These were small imperfections and something I noticed but didn't think twice about until he called it out. Another company might have continued with the job and waited to see if the customer said anything, but Craig and Curt stopped work right away, ordered new product, explained to me what was happening, and gave me an adjusted timeline for completion once the new siding arrived. The end product is fantastic and our 100+ year old house is revitalized. We spent over a year talking to TCSP about our project and I met with Rob (sales) multiple times. I lost track of how many times I emailed Rob with questions or to have him run costs from me "one more time" after I had changed my mind about something. Rob responded immediately and provided thorough answers and walked me through my options patiently. I never felt pressured and TCSP provided fair discounts for any work that I wanted to complete myself. Curt (project manager) was available to me by phone/text throughout the project and walked me through everything before they started work. Craig (foreman) and Corey managed to make all the weird angles and imperfections on our house look neat, and that is saying something. The job site was spotless every day and when I noticed one small problem after the work was completed, they came back immediately and fixed it right away. I would highly recommend TCSP to anyone considering installing Hardie Board on their house. With a job as important as residing your house, you want to know that it is done right. TCSP uses the recommended materials, and has the expertise to give you that peace of mind.

It was a difficult job but TCSP lived up to the challenge. TCSP is a quality company that you can trust to care about their work, their customers, and to do things right. Integrity runs top down, bottom up, and sideways. Note: The reason I did not rate them on price is because I was so engaged from the start that I did not shop around for comparisons. The house foundation still needed painting in photo below.

Their performance and the end result exceeded our expectations. They were not the low bid, but they were the high performer. They also truly believe that business is personal - and that's exactly the kind of service you get. Professional top-to-bottom. Our neighbors commented on how nice and polite the siding crew were. The little issues that come up during the course of a project were dealt with immediately and fairly, as we went. No surprises.

Each occasion we’ve had them went exceedingly well! Twin Cities Siding Professionals have a very high say:do ratio. Meaning they do exactly as they say they will, when they said they would do it. We’ve used them over the past few years to replace large windows in our family room. Each time they were willing to work within our budget and helped develop a plan to get them all done over time. Their guys showed up on time, are craftsmen who did a phenomenal job, completed putting in Multiple windows within a few hours, cleaned up after themselves and left only after making sure we were satisfied with their work. Which of course we were. As long time Angie’s list members, we’ve written lots of reviews. Many of them bad. TCSP has always exceeded our expectations

Twin Cities Siding Professionals has been great to work with, we like working with them so much we keep hiring them over and over again. The things I most appreciated: 1. They are very willing to talk about budgets and work with you to create a plan to make if affordable. We ended up doing a few windows a year rather than doing them all at once so that we didn't have to spend all the $$ at the same time. 2. The workers were always on time and VERY polite. I felt very comfortable having them inside my house. 3. They answered questions promptly, and without making me feel like an idiot for asking the question. 4. The installations were done well, quickly and look wonderful when they are completed.

This is an update to my previous review. My old review from last month is below. Since then, we've heard back from the main office (Ann) and owner (Terry) immediately upon posting our review on Angie's List. We also had our first contractor meeting today where the main 2 project leads + sales person (Tom) came. They were actually 15 minutes early, and the meeting went really well. We also met with the owner Terry, who contacted us within 24 hours of our previous review to address concerns. He came to our house today to respond and resolve things, and made us feel much more confident in the job and future project. While there were some breakdowns in communication (e.g., pricing, financing, accuracy of order, etc.), they were all addressed today and hopefully won't be an issue down the line as we get the project coordinated. The overall project is going to be pricey, and I'll add a final review later this summer once everything is done - stay tuned! Previous review (3/2018): I'll change this review if things improve, but we reached out to Twin Cities Siding Professionals back in early February. Our first appointment was on February 2, where we had Thomas L. over to go over things, which went initially really well. We ended up committing very quickly and getting an estimate for approximately $26,000 (to also replace windows). Upon a second visit to solidify colors and sign paperwork, we left a deposit of $1000 to get this scheduled for June. Since then, we haven't heard a word. It's TWO MONTHS LATER folks! Despite calling the home office multiple times, we still haven't had any resolution of getting a date set up, etc. Previous reviews also documented poor communication but based on the number of A/top rated reviews, I figured this wasn't a huge issue. Unfortunately, my experience really reflects poorly on the company - have not been impressed so far and shocked they have an A ranking on Angie's List. I'll write more the snow melts and spring approaches (or summer) and update this if our experience changes.

I initially requested a quote in the summertime and then tried to schedule work approximately Sept 2016. The quote was quite high to begin with but I had heard great things about the company and their quality of workmanship. Therefore, I was willing to pay more to get the job done well. We had some initial issues getting the job on the schedule and it didn't get done until a few weeks after we had originally discussed. This isn't unusual. I was told by the workman on site that the work would take "2-3 days tops." However, the site worker did not arrive several days that he was scheduled to arrive and when it did would come for only a few hours each day. So, when I voiced concerns to Terry about the amount of time being spent each day by the worker vs the amount of hours cited in an email from him as to the amount of hours needed for the job, things became very adversarial. My main concern was that the job might take longer than we had discussed and I was scheduled to be going out of the country on a work trip (as it was the end of November by then) or that perhaps the work crew had misunderstood what the work was that was supposed to be done. He took my concerns as a personal affront and became very angry on the phone, accusing me of lying to try to get money off the price Suffice it to say, as a single woman who has experienced lots of mansplaining and construction/service industry workers trying to take advantage of my lack of specific knowledge in the past, his outburst caused me to be suspect of nearly every thing he or his workers said to me as we completed the rest of the job. If it hadn't been for the fact that I had already paid a portion of the cost up front, I would have canceled the job right then and found a company who could treat me like a human being. To their only credit at the end of the job (which lasted for months as the painting couldn't be done until spring), the work was done with good skill and hasn't broken down over the past few months.

I must admit I was surprised and dismayed when I read this review by [Member Name Removed]. I have never had a customer complain about me in the 23 years I have owned my own business. I take immense pride in my customer satisfaction skills because I truly care about creating happy customers. I adhere to the same path with those who work with me as well. This report was submitted to Angie’s List well over a year after our conversation and the bulk of the work was done. (We did return and finished the painting portion of the job in the spring of 2017.) I freely admit that I don’t remember all of the exact details of the conversation I had with [Member Name Removed].. I had originally gone out to her house before she purchased it at the request of the gentleman who (at that time) owned the home. He wanted me to do an assessment on the Hardie siding that had been installed incorrectly in a number of places. I found a lot of the standard mistakes: Mis-nailing, mis-flashing, improper clearance, poor or no caulking to name a few. I informed him that a proper fix would be to re-do the job in its entirety but did give him some options for a partial repair with the set pricing. [Member Name Removed] agreed to purchase the house and then asked me if we could do the repair work for her that I had originally presented to the previous homeowner. We had a discussion on the phone about the scope of work and I sent my repair manager over to her home to draw up the product order and make sure he fully understood the scope and specifications and to assign workers to the project. Prior to this [Member Name Removed] had asked how long the project would take and I gave her an approximate length of time (I don’t remember how long I said). My repair manager decided to do the project himself due to an unexpected gap that opened up that allowed him to do the project. This is, I believe, where the disconnect happened. My repair manager is a much more efficient and higher paid employee due to his skill set, years of experience and work ethic. He finished the job in less time than it would take for a typical employee to do the work – for the reason stated in the sentence above. However, his salary structure is much higher than a lower level employee so the labor cost nets out about the same when the analysis is done. [Member Name Removed] didn’t like that the job took less time than I originally thought so she called me. I admit I was a bit incredulous that someone would complain about the job getting done in less time. Generally, the opposite is true. People get perturbed when jobs take longer than originally planned. But that’s construction in general - and especially true in remodeling, and even more so in patchwork repair work. We often run into unforeseen situations buried behind siding, walls and so forth. In my explanation to [Member Name Removed] I may have seemed like I was “mansplaining” but that was not my intention. I have always run my business with integrity and care for everyone I have dealt with whether it has been potential clients, customer, employees, vendors, and whomever I come into contact with. Our company has won the Better Business Bureau Integrity Award twice as proof of that. My apologies to [Member Name Removed] in my failure in regards to what transpired in October of 2016.

We have had work done by Twin Siding Professionals a few times in the past. In fact over a couple of years, they have resided our whole house with Hardie Siding. It took that long because we had a section of the house done a section at time. We could not afford to do the whole house at one time without going into debt. The current job was performed just as well as the previous jobs. They have always done excellent work for us and completed when expected. The whole house paint job was fantastic. The painter (Brent Nelson) did a wonderful job. His attention to detail was great. I am a stickler for doing things right and he really did. I would never hesitate to recommend Twin Cities Siding.
Description of Work: We had James Hardie Siding installed on the side and back of our attached garage extension as well as repair to Hardie Siding on the front of the garage that was damaged by vandalism. We also had them paint the whole house and repair an entry door threshold on the garage. This work was performed last fall, it just took me awhile to make time to post this review.
Great! Continued great service even after almost 5 years. Now that really says something!!!!! Thanks Nate!
Description of Work: Complete rebuild of the exterior to include all new windows, doors, siding, roofing and insulation. The house still looks great after almost 5 years and is holding up to the elements very well. I had a crack in the dryer vent and wanted to replace it with the same exact one to match the siding and other vents but couldn't find it online or anywhere else so I emailed Nate at TCS. He responded within minutes and said that he had one in stock for me! Continued great service even after almost 5 years. Now that really says something!!!!! Thanks Nate!

We really enjoyed working with [Member Name Removed] and [Removed Member Name] . The transformation on their home was amazing! One of the benefits of being in remodeling is we get to work closely with our clients and we can still admire the finished product many years after its completion. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of this project. From the initial pre-construction phase through project completion, the staff at TCSP were very professional, courteous and provided top notch customer service. The project cost was fair and reasonable while the quality of work was stellar. It is rare to find a company this committed to quality while providing such a high level of customer service. It is truly impressive. I commend the entire team at TCSP for a job well done.

Twin Cities Siding Professionals are true professionals. The work on my house was fantastic. Siding tear-off was done quickly and everyday before the crew left the side of the house was wrapped with Hardiewrap so no rain damage could occur. The site was always picked up at the end of every day. New siding was put on very professionally and I could tell that the crew took pride in their work. I was consulted a number of times when additional work had to be done, like rot along the chimney. The crew was very easy to talk to and prompt in arriving at the home everyday. They listened to my requests and followed up on questions or concerns I had. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with TCSP, the work on my house, and the crew that did the work. I would highly recommend Twin Cities Siding Professionals for siding projects.

I cannot speak highly enough of Twin Cities Siding Professionals. We hired TCSP to install the siding and windows on our home. Our house is very unusual and we had unusual requirements regarding color and design. They made the process easy at every step of the way while also taking the time to get the details right. Working with Tom, Curt and Andy was fantastic. The best thing I can say about TCSP is this story. After the job was done, a person was admiring our house and asked me when I had torn down the previous house. The job made our house look so good, the person thought it was new construction. TCSP gave life to the outside of our house and I couldn't be happier with the job that was done.

In a word - Fantastic. While not the cheapest provider, they were head and shoulders above all contractors we had contact with in terms of quality of work, policing up the job site post construction, communication, contracting and payment terms. And they're just darned friendly to work with. They provided a written contract with all the requisite terms. And to insure no miscommunication, they included pictures of what each step of the work should look like in order to be satisfactory.. They provided liability coverage with us named as additional insureds for the duration of the project. They also give you access to software that allows you to virtually side your house in any of the Hardie colors, products and stone designs - a great tool for helping make final product selections. Multiple other prior projects were offered for us to see and contact as references. All had the same experience. But the best recommendation? When other company's siding projects go bad due to poor work, TCSP is called to fix the problems others leave behind. Don;t believe me? Call the Hardie company and ask them. Would unequivocally recommend them to anyone.

We met with Chad (sales person for Twin Cities Siding Professionals). We had already made several 13" x 19" computer renderings of what we wanted done and had a list of questions. We were very prepared. Although Chad was very polite and attentive, he apparently did not want to answer several questions at this appointment; such as will there be a foremen or supervisor at the job during this project. The other two businesses both emailed us a bid within days, but Chad wanted to present the bid in person on another date. I asked (via email) if he could just email me the bid, and he stated no. Perhaps this is Twin Cities Siding Professionals normal sales practice, but we do not like to have the added pressure that would be present in having a "face-to-face" meeting with the bid. From this businesses reviews on Angie's List, I'm sure they would have done a very good job, as would the other two businesses we met with, but there was no reason not to email us the bid (especially given the detailed information and renderings we gave him). When I emailed Chad to inform him that we were going with another firm, I never got a response, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. The other business we decided not to use sent us a nice email hoping us the best and asking if we had any suggestions on how they could improve their process.
Description of Work: My wife and I picked three siding businesses from Angie's List to get bids. Our project was to reside our 1,700 square foot rambler with James Hardie siding, install 9 windows (which we already had purchased) and to remove the brick on the front of the home/garage and replace with cultured stone.

After reading this review, I spoke with my Project Consultant and researched to ascertain Chad's memories were accurate. This gentleman called our company in 2012 and went through our entire sales process, including meeting for the second time. He chose our company but then had to back out of our agreement. We are not sure why he did but are always understanding when people have to cancel. He called us again earlier this year so Chad went out to visit with him. We always start our process over when people call us back years after we initially visited them. We really do care and want the project to go very well. When time passes, people's memories fade and misunderstandings can happen. We have a company policy that we desire a 100% satisfaction rating from our customers. This starts with the sales process. Even when we work for construction professionals, we require a second face to face meeting just to make sure we are on the same page. This prevents misunderstandings and hurt feelings. Chad does not remember not telling this gentleman about our project supervisors and I have sat with him on many presentations when he did. Chad, along with the rest of our staff, are very proud to talk about Curt, Darin, and Nate. They have been with us for a total of 30+ years. We were are one of very few companies that actually have employee installers so being reticent about speaking about our employees doesn't sound like something Chad would do. I guess we will agree to disagree there. Chad did make a mistake by not responding to his email. I spoke with Chad and he sent an apology letter that day. He assured me that he will always respond in the future.

Our experience with TCSP was awesome and I recommend them very highly. We are very detail-oriented and picky people and were looking for a company that would provide the level of care and attention to detail that we demanded and we found that with TCSP. Chad was our salesman and right away from the first meeting with him I was impressed with the thoroughness of his presentation. We walked around the house and I asked him questions about how they would handle various areas and he answered all my questions patiently and completely. A few days later Chad came back to present us with our quote and he spent a couple hours walking us through their process and what we should expect. We liked hearing about TCSP's plan to handle any moldy or damaged wall boards that might be encountered. Chad also explained their process for flashing he joints to keep everything water tight. We came away from the presentation with the feeling that with TCSP we could be absolutely sure that the work would be done right and that there wouldn't be any corners cut. Chad was very easy to work with and prompt with returning our phone calls. Once we agreed to hire TCSP, Nate was assigned as our project manager. He was just as great to work with as Chad, and always easy to get a hold of via phone or email, even during evenings and weekends. Nate spent time with me walking around the house before the work started to make sure that we were on the same page. The work went very smoothly and took just under 3 weeks, exactly what I was told in the beginning. The crew worked at a steady pace and never seemed to rush through things. The quality of work looks great. The crew was friendly and did a good job of keeping the work site tidy. There were a couple items that came up during construction where things weren't done as expected, however Nate and TCSP took care of all of these and fixed them as soon as I brought them up. These type of items would happen with any contractor on any major project, but the way that TCSP went out of their way to rectify these situations is where I think TCSP really shined and showed their dedication to their customers. For example, the wrong size light mounts were installed in some locations due to a miscommunication regarding the size of new lights that would be installed. I pointed this out to Nate when I noticed it and by the next day the mounts had been replaced with the proper size mounts and the re-work looked completely seamless. I am extremely happy with how easy it was to work with Nate and TCSP. Overall, I recommend TCSP very highly. To be fair, their price came in a little higher than other quotes we received, but the piece of mind that we got from working with TCSP made it worth every penny and I honestly don't think the quality of work would have been as good out of any other company. We are convinced that our siding was done right and will function properly for years to come.
Description of Work: Removed original vinyl siding, installed hardie wrap and hardie board siding on entire house. They coordinated with a subcontractor to install stone on part of the front of the house.

Overall, it went well and I have no doubt they provide an excellent service and product. Unfortunately, the price was higher than expected. If this was my "forever home," I would have hired them without a doubt. I plan on selling in a couple of years and can't justify spending $3,000 more than another moderately comparable company. For reference, I own a one-level home with a foundation size of 862 sq ft. The price also included a sale promotion. Chad was my estimator. He was very prompt and thorough. He provided great explanations and visuals of their installation techniques. Their proposal was very thorough as well. In fact, I learned quite a bit from TCSP about the process I should expect in a quality company and compared all other companies to TCSP standards. My boyfriend is incredibly meticulous and picky and I feel this company would have easily exceeded his expectations. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future and know they will likely be one of my first calls if my future forever home needs siding.
Description of Work: Received an estimate for siding and soffit/fascia replacement. The estimate was for Hardie siding with aluminum soffit/fascia. It would have been approximately $600 more for Hardie soffit and fascia.
