SHOLD CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

We had a leaking faucet that had been looked at by a different company/plumber earlier in the day. We were dissatisfied with their work, so we wanted to get another opinion before buying a whole new faucet. My husband recommended we call Shold Construction Services ( a general contractor) for another try at repairing the faucet. I called his scheduler and explained the situation. Even though it was near the end of the day, she called Geno (owner/contractor) to see if he could swing by to take a look. She called back right away to let us know he'd be there soon. Within an hour he was at our door. We told him what the other plumber had told us (about needing the joint discs (name?)) being shot and that we'd need to order new parts or get a new faucet entirely. Geno examined the faucet above and below the sink and took a good long while to examine the faucet completely, open up and adjust and/or tighten the inner sprayer fittings, etc. He took the time to really figure out where the leak was coming from, and then proceeded to fix it! When he was done, not only was the leak fixed/eliminated, but the water flow --and the entire faucet-- worked even better! We couldn't have been happier with his work. : )

The amount included the materials and labor. I didn't have to do anything. My experience was very good. He was able to talk through a little issue that I had. There was an issue with getting the wrong doors in. He was very reliable and worked with me. A better solution dissolved the issue and the fact that they had sent the wrong patio door. He reordered the proper size. I'm having him do some fencing work for me right now.

The team was stellar. Geno Shold engaged a top notch crew of subcontractors for the finishing work, guided me in the selection of doors, windows and hardware. They worked hard to minimize the disruption to me working at home and contained the mess of the project to a small area of the kitchen.

GENO WAS PROMPT WITH OUR ESTIMATE AND WHEN WE CALLED TO SCHEDULE A DATE, HE WAS NOT PROMPT IN RETURNING OUR CALLS. WHEN THE WORK WAS EVENTUALLY DONE, IT WAS DONE BY A SUB CONTRACTOR, BUT GENO HAD CALLED AND SPOKEN TO US ABOUT IT. GENO CAME BACK TO CHECK ON THE COMPLETED WORK, FOUND IT TO HIS DISLIKING AND RE-DID THE GUTTER GUARDS. GENO IS ETHICAL. HIS HONESTY WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
