They were really informative. He did a good inspection. He worked around my schedule. He came in the evenings to meet with me. He made me comfortable with my purchase. They got it done in a reasonable amount of time. They cleaned up after they were done.

They where very friendly when they where there working on the air condition for us. They where very professional about the job. They had showed up on time and cleaned up when they where done working.

Good efficient service and information. Compared this company with 3 other providers in the area and this one won out in price and service. They put me in contact with the people I needed. Performance of the product has been excellent.

I called this company for an estimate to install a new furnace and central air unit. John Pearson came out and spent approximately 1.5 hours going through his sales pitch and viewing the existing furnace setup. He sent a technician out a week later to get his opinion about what needed to be done. John then called me and wanted to set up a time to come back to the house to spend about an hour and a half (his estimate) to go through all the choices and to ultimately arrive at an estimate. Meantime, I had two other companies (both Angie's List award winners) come to my house, spend approximately the same amount of time (both sent technicians on separate dates) and provide estimates based on different product combinations. One of the companies e-mailed the information while the other printed three estimate scenarios on his lap-top while still at my house. I told John Pearson of Residential, by phone, exactly what type of furnace / air combination I was looking for, but he insisted that he needed to come back to my house to go over all the options. When I told him that I didn't have the time to do that, he told me, and I quote, "then I don't have time for you" and he hung up. Based on our initial discussion, I believe Residential's estimate would have been on the high side, but it still would have been nice to get an estimate, especially since all the preliminary work had been done. For a company that is a multiple year award winner on Angie's List, I thought this was handled in an incredibly unprofessional and rude manner. I would not recommend this company.

They did great! They showed up on time and did what they said they were going to do. They did a wonderful job and were very polite. They cleaned up when well when they were finished with the work. I even got a great price on the work because it was during an "off season" period. I would use them again and would defiantly recommend them!

I appreciate Renee's courteous manner and quick response and taking ownership to resolve the issue promptly and at no additional expense to me. I hope that I won't need them again for a while, but I will absolutely use them in the future and highly recommend them for your heating/AC needs.

Their products, pricing & rebates were good and they very competitive but I just thought that their bidding process was not up to date and the clarity wasn't good, so I didn't go with them. They may want to consider upgrade their sales staff.

We called Residential at 8:30 on a Wednesday night when we came home and found the house at 59 degrees and the furnace blowing cold air. Charlie was at our house by 10:00. He quickly diagnosed a cracked heat exchanger and discussed our options with us; we could replace the heat exchanger, or replace the furnace. He went over the relative merits and costs of each, and told us that Renee would call us the next morning with more details. Renee called and gave us the costs of each option. She didn't pressure us either way and was really knowledgeable. We decided to have the furnace replaced. Because we had a cracked heat exchanger (which is a potential source of carbon monoxide), they moved us to the top of the list. They came out Friday morning and replaced the furnace. The electricians came on Monday to wire in the thermostat. Everything works great! Everyone was really nice to work with.

FANTASTIC! Could not be happier with installation and quality of workmanship and equipment. Installer (Dana) was always prompt, courteous, and professional. We strongly recommend Residential for any furnace or A/C installation(s).

He came out at 10pm and found the part that needed to be replaced. He originally thought it wouldn't be until Monday when we could get the part, but he found one and came out on Sunday morning. They were prompt and did a good job.

We were satisfied with their performance.

They completed the work, but on 12/20/07 I returned home after being gone for 3 weeks to find that my house did not have any heat. I had utility company come out and they told me it was a problem with the zone motor and that they do not work on zone motors. I was told to call the installer of the zone motor. I called Residential Heating & Air, explained the problem and was told they would call me back. After 4 hours and no return call, I called them back. I was told by the individual answering calls that, they would come out to look at the motor, but I would have to pay a $147 service fee. I was told that they only warranty the motor for 30 days. I said so this means, I may have to have the zone motor replaced every 10 months. Her response was yes, because they only warranty for 30 days. I was blown away by that comment. Please bear in mind that they also replaced this exact same zone motor in 2005, which they came out 30 days later to fix because it was not working.

Chris was very polite, arrived on time and was easy to deal with. We ended up going with another contractor, but only because they came in with a lower bid.

Chris was very nice and explained things well. He also took time to answer questions. The job seemed to take a little longer than they expected.

He was very nice, he educated me about air conditioning and what he was doing to fix my unit.

OK I guess, although in hindsight I regret agreeing to an additional $135 spent on spur of the moment recommended furnace flu cleaning and fungicide treatment. Technician Bill was personable and experienced, although look out for extras you might be talked into. If it weren't for this I would be more apt to give an A rating. This is also why I awarded a C for professionalism.

I have no complaints. The work was done well. The one-man crew did a great job and cleaned up the work area each day. The new system works great. They accommodated my difficult travel schedule.

Called about 3pm on a Tuesday and was offered a next day appointment between 1-4. I prefer mornings and asked when the next morning appt would be. Offered Thursday 8-9am which worked well for me. Nice courteous phone service. Even though I didn't ask, she made sure to tell me the costs up front. Technician was early, but waited until appt time to knock (probably because it was an 8am appt). I did not expect an early arrival with traffic and such, so I was pleasantly surprised. Completed work within about 50 minutes and replaced part. Gave briefing on general condition of furnace and recommended duct cleaning but did not push their company for this. The only negative comment, or actually more of a suggestion, would be to advise of the cost PRIOR to installing the part. The part equaled over half of the overall cost ($225.00), so it was quite significant and I should have been advised of the cost and agreed. That amount was unexpected. Otherwise very courteous and informative.

I hired them to do our air duct cleaning. Bill, the serviceman also recommended other services, but I only agreed to the dryer duct cleaning. Bill was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and gave me great advice that no one else has on many appliances. We have not been taking care of our dryer, furnace, A/C or Aprilaire properly! The only problem was that his tube (positioned through our basement window) rubbed against our new window well and caused some rough spots and the stain to rub off. I called the company about this and they offered a more than generous reimbursement for this issue. They usually put a tarp down she said and then the problem would not have happened. I am still very pleased with this company.

Great! They were on time. While the working space was very tight, the installer was able to install all that I wanted in that space, even though it took him a bit longer than he had planned. He worked late on the installation day and even came back on Saturday to finish the job. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. John (the salesman) went out of his way to explain the difference in the furnaces and made sure he was selling me only what I needed. He didn't try to pressure me into purchasing more of a heating system than I needed.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND THEY ALSO REFERRED ME TO SODERLIN PLUMBING AND HEATING.

They were on time and the guy was very nice and helpful. He wasn't sure if he would be able to do it because of some outside access issues, but he didn't give up and in the end he was able to do it with some effort.

Our air conditioner is 20 years old and because of the hot summer it has been running continuously. We had never had anything done to it, so thought it time to have it checked out. I called Residential and asked if someone could come out. They could do it much sooner than I was ready, so we agreed on a Tuesday AM appointment. She said the cost was $159. Louis called the day of the appointment and said he was running late. No problem. When he arrived he went right to work. It took him about an hour and a half. He checked everything out and cleaned out the condenser. He found no problems. With the Angie's list coupon it was $134. I have absolutely no complaints. They came when they said they would, did the work they said they would, for the price quoted. He could have told me there were problems, but he didn't. I would call them again.
