Excellent service, would use again.

Called to have annual service call for furnace and air conditioner. The woman I spoke with was kind and patient. David arrived, and he was thorough and knowledgable. He noted that our furnace inducer was noisy and recommended we keep an eye on it. If it got louder, he said we should have it changed but wasn't pushy about doing it right now, which I appreciated. He said it was an easy part to repair, and one they usually had in stock. One area of disappointment: When I called, I requested the most experienced worker, and the woman said she would send George. George was not sent, and there was no explanation why. I feel companies should do what they say, or one loses trust in them. David, did a fine job, so it turned out fine, but I still would have liked to have been informed of the change. I called to have the a/c checked, and they gave me a discount on servicing the furnace at the same service call. But, after checking out other companies on Angie's List, I think I could have gotten a better price for annual service for both.

Something didn't seem right with my A/C. It was making a lot of noise and not cooling the place off. I called Residential on a Monday and they offered to come that day! I wasn't available so we scheduled the appointment for Wednesday. The repairman arrived early (imagine that!) and did a quick inspection. My A/C unit was frozen solid. So, he made a quick call and rearranged my appointment so he could come back later in the day (as I'd already planned for the entire day off if needed). He came back exactly when he said he would, did about an hour and fifteen minutes worth of work and was on his way. And, I had a well-operating A/C unit!

We were pleased with the installation. Dana was very thorough and make sure everything was installed correctly. The installation was completed in 1/2 day.

Furnace was leaking water, we weren't sure if it was the hose that was clogged, or the humidifier or both. They were able to come out the same day they were called. The tech that came out (I think his name was George) found the problem very quickly. The pipe that drained the condensation was clogged before the hose. He blew it out a couple times with compressed air and did the same with the hose. Since it didn't take long, he also did a walk around with me to point out potential problems and suggestions of how to improve air flow in the ducts. I felt like we got our money's worth for the 1 hour service charge when it was such an easy fix. I will surely call them back when we have our ducts cleaned, and possibly to replace the blower fan on our old furnace.

THey did a great job, even upgraded the air conditioner that was installed to one that was more efficient and a little more expensive without charging me above the estimate.

Called on Sat. Got appt for Tues am. Arrived 15 minutes early. Did thorough check of all functions.

They have also done plumbing work for us. They found an issue with our whole house humidifier when they came to do the inspection. There was a broken part. My husband felt the guy was in a hurry because it was a Friday afternoon. He didn't recommend repairing it or give us any info on costs. It is still broken. They are usually very good. and very helpful. They did a great job on installing our heating system. I would definitely use them again.

found rust and holes on the heat exchanger of our old furnace and were able to install a new one the next day. They did only send one man to install it so he was here 11 hours doing the work. The work looks great and the furnace works great. They also helped us even out the heat in the house by adjusting baffles in the duct work.

They arrived at my home when they said they would. They removed the old furnace and A/C units and reinstalled the new units which also included new zone controls and thermostats, deluxe air filter, and sump pump to redirect A/C condensation to a tap in a utility sink drain line. They lined the chimney and added a fresh air inlet duct for the furnace room. Each of the stages of the installation were performed by individuals that specialized in their particular area of expertise. They finished with the project on time. The installers cleaned up after themselves and instructed me in all aspects of my new equipment. I couldn't have been happier with the overall performance of this company.

Residential Heating & Air Conditioning was respectful. I didn't like that when they drilled holes, they had made a mess all over my shelves. I would use this company again in the future.

We were pleased. The price was much less than the standard price, and we think they did a good job installing the units. We had gotten bids from 3-4 places, and this was the choice we felt was best.

Returned home late Sunday afternoon to a 60 cold house and a non-startable furnace; being elderly, and faced with several below-zero nights, we were "concerned". I called the dominant company on Angie's List and was told I would get a call-back "sometime tonight." Then I called Residential and was told "the technician, Scott, would call within the hour"; he called back 15 minutes later and assured us that he would be there in 1-2 hours(9:00-10:00 PM). He arrived at 9:50 PM and luckily had a replacement part for the 28-year old furnace. He also made sure we were in no danger of CO2 leakage from the old heat exchanger.

The air-duct service was fine. They were very thorough. They gave good suggestions on ongoing maintenance. The workers were very good and got the job done.

I was very satisfied with the job they did. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. There were a few problems with wiring of the AC but they came back and fixed it. The workers cleaned up well and I liked their efficiency. I plan to use them again in the future.

David was very friendly and professional. He also looked at my humidifier and showed my how to use it.

They talked me into some other stuff too, which I was not to crazy about. They did the work on a Saturday. I chose them because of their grades on ANgies list. I have a small home, and when they arrived, they didn't cover anything and dirt was going every were in my home. There was so much dust and dirt everywhere in my home and it took me weeks to clean up. When I asked told them about the dirt, they said they hear that all the time so I'm not sure why they didnt' use runners. They did refund the project. She was not very receptive when I called, and didn't really apologize. I would never use or recommend them.

Overall, outstanding service. From the first phone call, the company was responsive, professional and reliable. The dispatcher communicated clearly and listened well. Dave (who did the repairs) came right on time (same day - this was a priority job) and diagnosed the problem immediately (control board was ruined). He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why as he went. He did a thorough job and it was clear to me he takes pride in doing great work. I'd definitely use Residential Heating and Air again. Of the $693, $395 was for the control board and $298 was labor. The control board was expensive, but given that our house was 42 degrees inside and we had extensive water damage to clean up, the total cost including labor was worth it.

This is the third unit I have had them install. I have always been pleased with their work.

I had a great experience with Residential. They were responsive to my questions after the initial estimate for a more expensive system (two-stage furnace and higher SEER A/C). After talking with them about other options, they came up with a package that fit my budget.

Bill arrived early in the time window given. He and his son worked quickly and gave much advice. Bill noticed that the ducts had never been cleaned as there were no previous access spots and suggested that I get the Roto-clean. I took his advice and believe that it was worth the extra cost. He mentioned that they pulled 3 garbage bags worth of dust and junk just from the cold air returns. That doesn't count the rest of the lines. They were very professional and respectful of the house.

The gentleman who came out was very nice and knowledgeable. We already had two quotes from other companies, got conflicting info. from the two and this was to be a tie breaker. After looking at our home and current system, and talking to me he looked at the two quotes. He said he wouldn't be able to beat them (so didn't take the time to write up a quote) and offered a suggestion on which he thought was the better deal. I thought this was very honest and generous on his part. So I think it would be a good company for others to go with.

They were prompt for the estimate. It was a few months before I was ready for them to start the work, because I was doing a big remodel. The man was very conscientious about putting the duct work in the best place possible. I was very pleased with the work and everything works great. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

They were knowledgeable, professional, and competitive on price. They didn't vacuum up after themselves but other than that no complaints.

Bill along with his son Billy were very professional. They called 30 minutes before arriving. They were knowledgeable and walked me through each step. Bill explained what he was doing, what additional services he could provide (which I took him up on a few with no pressure), and told me how I could do a few things on my own with little effort. He also suggested a better filter than the one I have, and where to get one. He also explained the need for a carbon monoxide detector and where to get that. He also gave me a timeline of how often I should repeat some processes. Cleaned up before they left and explained there would be a little dust settling at the registers, so give it a day before cleaning. There were no surprises and they were pleasant.
