Olstad Painting

Fabulous! Olstad Painting is wonderful to work with; we have been using Steve and his crew for 14 years and never bother to call anyone else.

Steve painted our previous home that was expensive red wood siding, as well as interior rooms. When we moved, we has Steve paint our new home and all of the interior as well, including cathedral height ceilings. He did some beautiful custom finishes in some bedrooms. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

The team did fabulous work, as always. They are prompt, efficient, courteous, don't play objectionable music, and their language is kid safe and mother approved. 1) the team showed up when expected - Steve communicates changes to start dates days to weeks in advance, allowing the homeowner to plan and not be inconvenienced. 2) the team was ready to go, no issues, no questions, no misunderstandings. Steve is a true professional and expects the same of his crew. 3) the team did great work, and cleaned up after themselves. 4) the prep is outstanding, such that the paint holds very well, and Olstad uses high quality product that won't wear. I have hired Olstand painting five times in the past ten years -- every time we need to paint, be it inside or out -- and am so spoiled by the quality and completeness of their work that I no longer get bids from other contractors. The price is a little higher than most, but Worth Every Penny.

Steve and company have done two jobs for us. We had a very large job in our old house in a NW suburb where they enameled all new trim work and painted the whole interior. This job was in approximately 2006. The work was flawless, including spraying the doors, trim work, and rolling the ceilings and walls. We recently moved to an existing house south of the river and when we got fully moved in it was time to paint to our taste. This house needed a lot more prep work as the previous owners had a lot of wall paper removed and painted over. unfortunately the painters did not make sure all the old glue was off prior to painting. Steve and company made sure the walls were sanded, nail holes filled, and flaws fixed before again doing a perfect paint job. Not sure how they get such nice ceiling lines? I guess that is why they are professionals. In full disclosure, Steve is a cousin and thus picking him to paint wasn't a hard choice. But, cousin or not, had he not done such a good job on the first house we would have looked elsewhere for the second house.

We were very satisfied with the work Olstad Painting did in our home. Olstad Painting did a very professional job, including: - showing up for work on time, - cleaned up when they were done for the day, - performed quality work in a timely manner - answered all of our questions - The cost was very close to the estimate. As with any household project, once you get started you realize that there is more work to do than you originally thought. Olstad Painting graciously helped us out in this area also. They are very nice guys. We highly recommend Olstad Painting for your next painting project.

We have used Olstad Painting for both indoor and outdoor painting needs for the last 15 years. Steve has, without fail, provided first rate service. We had no hesitation about hiring him for this large, expensive project. And he delivered.job well done.

Our first experience with Olstand Painting was several years ago when they painted the exterior of our home. We were extremely pleased with their work then and we didn't think twice about having them work on the interior of our home this time. Overall it went great! Steve set expectations up front so that we knew what would be involved in the project and the length of time it would take. Steve and his crew were friendly, very punctual and meticulous in their work. With all of the sanding there was a lot of dust, but they did a very good job of cleaning up at the end of every day. At the end of the project they also did a great job of cleaning up. Excellent job with the painting. I did have them come back to re-paint one wall as I noticed some streaking. They re-painted it. . . no questions asked. We are extremely please with the results. Olstad Painting was great to work with and we had an excellent customer experience. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work. The price may be a little more than other places, but it's well worth it. I will definitely use them again.

Steve and his crew did an outstanding job. They were conscientious, on-time, and very attentive to the quality of their work and detail. They did a fantastic job bringing back the look of our woodwork. We've never seen better ceiling lines. We highly recommend them. They were one of the best contractor experiences that we have had (and we've used a lot of different contractors.)

Very good experience. I've had Olstad Painting work on several projects on my home over the last five years. Every time the integrity and hard work ethic of Steve Olstad's company has come through. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

FABULOUS AS USUAL. ON TIME, ON BUDGET, GREAT PREP, WONDERFUL WORK. CLEANED UP SO WELL WE WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN THEY WERE THERE EXCEPT THAT THE WORK WAS DONE.
