My husband and I hired quite a few vendors to help us move and outfit our new home and Joy Painting was by far the best. This is our second time hiring Joy Painting because of their great quality and fair price. The estimate that Kyng gave me was spot on. They arrived to perform the work at the time we discussed and were able to complete it in a day, which was quicker than expected. When I realized that I had chosen two colors that didn't work well, Kyng was more than willing to get the new paint I selected and scheduled me for just a few days later because he knew we needed it done before the furniture arrived. He charged a very fair price to repaint the rooms, even though it was my mistake. We have no paint on our ceiling and they were careful not to spill on the carpet. Their lines are amazing too. If you look at the ceiling, it looks perfectly straight. I can tell that they take pride in what they do. I will continue to hire them in the future and recommend them wholeheartedly.

The job went very well. The cedar siding on the south side of the house was badly faded , with many loose boards and cracks and holes that need replacement , filling and caulking. Surface preparation was extensive and thorough . The house was washed with a power sprayer, let dry a few days, then painted . Result was beautiful We are very pleased with the outcome. I recommend Joy Painting without reservation.

Kyng and his Joy Painting crew are spectacular, extremely skilled and a true joy. We have been using Kyng the for exterior and interior painting for nearly 15 years. When they painted our current quite large house in 2007, Kyng was $3000 less than most of the bids, and he took extra care to do it right. He also found wood that was rotting underneath and he replaced that, too. Inside of our houses in the last decade+, Kyng has made our places shine so beautifully. Besides typical painting, he also does specialized work such as sponge painting. We could not ask for a better, friendlier and more skilled craftsman. We would recommend Joy Painting for all painting needs - inside and out!!! Joy is simply the best...

This was the third job we used Kyng and Joy Painting on. Every experience has been wonderful! Kyng and his team are incredibly customer-oriented and dedicated to the little details - for example, when Kyng comes to paint in the house, all floors are covered with paint cloths, and then after the job is complete, they actually clean up after themselves by vacuuming! As for the exterior, we were concerned with our cedar siding that we would have to tear it all down and replace with vinyl (lots of woodpecker holes and repair needed) - Kyng worked with his carpenter to repair / replace the necessary boards, then paint the entire home - what we thought was going to cost us $25,000 came in at $7000, and we were happier with the results (we were able to keep the cedar siding). We love doing busines with Kyng, and will continue to use him in the future!

After getting no response from our first choice painting service, we went with a referral from a friend. Joy Painting came highly recommended. When I called Kyng, he answered right away. He promptly set up a time to meet and go over and estimate the job. He came over within a days notice and quoted us a VERY fair price for the services I needed. Originally I asked him to just quote wallpaper removal for 2 medium sized rooms and painting. After he gave me that estimate, we had him quote additional jobs at the same time. (since he would already be here and setup - it was much cheaper than having him come out at a later time). So he also quoted doing our hallway, painting our ceilings (in the noted rooms) as well as touching up our exterior trim. I expected to pay well over 2k for all of this work. He quoted 1500$. (We also tipped the workers another 100$ for going above and beyond) They came when they said they would, and put in a good 9 hours on the first day. They were very meticulous in getting the room prepped before and cleaned & put back together when they were done. They suggested colors, and gave us pro's and con's to various things. So it was also a learning experience for me. They finished up the trim today, as they said they would, and thanked us for our business. I would highly recommend them. They are very competitively priced, their work is top quality, and they did what we expected and than some. We will definitely use them for future projects.

Have used this company twice. Kyng is fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Very competitive. Excellent crew (Kyng works with the crew). Polite. Very careful set up. Fast. Efficient. Proficient. Excellent job. We recommend this company to any of our friends considering a painting contractor.

It turned out well. They did a good job. I have nothing negative to say about it.

They were awesome! - They were recommended by a good designer as doing great work and reasonable price. - Quick and very accomodating to our schedule to come to house for bid. We wanted the office done early as were having carpeting installed due to construction, and so his crew worked a Fri-Sat to get it done. - He did not charge extra for changing colors several times (as some other painters that bid). His price was less than half of another bid (that bid was significantly overpriced). - Described plan in detail. Arrived promptly as per schedule. - Extemely friendly and respectful throughout (best customer service we have ever dealt with). Totally covered the wood floor with paper, and covered everything else with plastic. We had marked colors and holes to fill with Post-it notes, and all completed as noted). We chose to skip a bedroom at the last minute, and he was fine and removed from bill. - Outstanding work - e.g.. not a spot of paint on ceiling, baseboards, floors, anywhere. He requested a walk-through so we could inspect and repeatedly volunteered that if we find anything later, that he will come back and take care of it at no cost. - There was a slight problem and they went overboard to repeatedly apologize and make sure it was totally corrected to our satisfaction.

They did an AMAZING job! They were really a great contractor. I was so very pleased with the result. They were very meticulous and very easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Excellent - quality is top-notch. My realtor referred me to Kyng as one of the best painters around. He was quick to provide an estimate, quoted a fair price, completed the job within the quoted timeframe, and did a fantastic job. The paint on my front & back porches was chipping/peeling, and they scraped and repainted them. A crack had appeared in my living room wall (the house was built in 1900). Joy Painting repaired the crack and repainted the wall.
