Description of Work: Replaced and upgraded electrical panel. Installed whole house surge protection. Provided guidance on whether we needed to change from 100 amp service to 150 amp service. The suggested that the change wasn't needed. The kept the cost down. Very happy with results.

Description of Work: I had a problem with a hanging French light fixture above my stove top. One of the two lamps within the fixture had a burned out light bulb, and replacement bulbs didn't fix the problem. The Gunnar "electrician" scraped the inside of the fixture, which didn't solve the problem. In fact, that particular lamp within the fixture created a shock when he attempted to screw a new bulb into it after he "scraped" it. I was charged $99.00 for his service which not only didn't solve the problem, but probably destroyed the fixture. |

Description of Work: My electricity was out in half of my house. My local handyman could not figure this out, so I joined Angie's List and called Gunnar Electric. They made a special trip, even though they were booked for that day. They were quickly able to determine that this was Excel Energy's issue. They called Excel for me, and I had power within a few hours. What pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating folks! You can be sure I will call them first if I have any more electrical problems.
