They arrived on time and was very professional. They made recommendations and had pictures of shower enclosures to choose from. They also had samples of the different glass types to choose from. The only thing I didn't like was their price. Overall great company though.

They were very helpful from beginning to end. In addition, they gave me some advice on how to keep my glass shower doors sparkling for years.
Description of Work: I broke the glass table top for a wicker end table in our gazebo. They were able to cut a new top that exactly matched the one on top of the matching end table.

They called before they arrived, gave us an estimate, we accepted and they did the work on the spot. The estimate was a bit more than I expected, but I guess you get what you pay for. A very professional, low stress experience.
Description of Work: We got a broken window in our guest bedroom over the weekend. I called first thing Monday morning and scheduled an appointment for Thursday. Unfortunately, we got another broken window on Wednesday and I called to change the work order to two windows instead of one. No problem.

They were prompt. They were pleasant. They were able to take out the windows without a problem, but the work they did for caulking the window in place with was not well done.

A window in an exterior door to our church gym was broken. Glass Doctor was here within a couple of hours after I called. They explained a couple of options for glass in the door: Laminated glass was the least expensive option and he could cut it and install it on the spot - he explained that it was the same type that is used in car windshields. The other option was tempered glass that would have to be ordered and was more expensive. Tempered glass would also shatter into little pieces if broken. I decided to go with the laminated glass. He was done in about an hour. Great experience.

I own a small business that was broken into in the middle of the night. I needed a glass repair company to come replace the front door before I could go home. I called 3 glass repair companies who advertised 24/7/365 service. Glass Doctor was the only one that returned my call. They called me back within 10 minutes. They told me the technician would call me when he was on the road. I received a call about 15 minutes later from the technician to tell me he was on the way. Considering it was 2:00am by this time I thought that was great response time. When he arrived he cleaned out the remaining glass of the broken door, replaced the door, and was pleasant and professional the entire time.

The work went well. He had to caulk some of the space around the window because the original seal from 1959 was in bad shape, and that type of seal isn't made anymore--which I knew from looking for it online and at hardware stores last year. I would have preferred a rubber seal all around the window, but that's a problem we've found with other repairs on a 50 year old house.
Description of Work: We needed to replace a broken storm window (47" x 42"). He showed up on time, gave estimates for regular glass ($246) and tempered glass ($399) .We wanted to get the window fixed as soon as possible, so we did not get other estimates. I chose the regular glass, and he did the work in about 45 minutes and took away the old glass.

Description of Work: Replaced my Audi A4 front windshield. Brought in to their shop. Work done on time. $505.40 billed to insurance. (good price - insurance may discount it?) Had to listen about extended breakage warranty -- annoying but short. Car vacuumed and cleaned. No problems with work or glass two years later.

They did a great job. The estimator arrived right on time and got everything measured quickly. He clearly explained our options. He also made clear that there would be some scratching to the wood surrounds of the windows, and that we would need to touch that up with fresh paint. (This was totally anticipated and reasonable.) Because of the number of windows, it took a couple of days to get the bid together. They called and it was right around $2100 for all twelve. We paid 1/2 up front, and the rest after the install. The install went quickly and smoothly -- the whole thing took basically one work day. From what we can tell, Sam (the installer) did a great job. The new glass is perfectly crystal clear with no distortion, and the damage to the wood was minimal. A pint of white paint and a small brush will take care of it, I think. By the way, we decided to go this route after having multiple companies bid on replacing all twelve complete windows (i.e. the whole pane, frame, etc.). The cost to do that ran $8500 to $12,500, depending on options chosen. Just replacing the panes was a far better option for us at 1/4 to 1/6 the cost. I would use Glass Doctor again. Great work.

We got hit by the hailstorm of spring 2008. We called and got scheduled in fairly quickly. The repairman came out and replaced both windows. I came home to find a very shoddy job. There was a great amount of broken glass under the window in my yard which I still occasionally find a piece. The calking was just squeezed on and not smoothed in, so it is just globbed around the frame. Finally, there are gouges in the wood frame around the window. When my wife talked to the repairman about the gouges, he simply said that Anderson windows are hard to work with. We called the office to have someone look at the work. They sent out the same repairman! We sent him back and asked for another representative. They told us they could send out the same guy. After a number of tries, I gave up. They did no follow up with us.

I needed to schedule them to come to my house 5 times. One of the times they never even showed up. Each time the visit had to be rescheduled (mirror cut wrong, mirror broke, edging material cut too short, mirror edge too far from wall, silicone seal came off) I had to call and reschedule. Not once to Bryce call me to reschedule. I never received any apology for my inconvenience with the multiple visits and re-do's. They were interested in getting the job right-eventually, but took no initiative to do so.
Description of Work: I had 2 large mirrors installed over bathroom vanities. Each mirror had 2 cutouts for lights and one for an outlet. They also installed a frameless glass shower door for a steam shower. A silicone seal was applied to the edges.

Had some difficulty getting the estimate. Was no show initially. Next day came out and said would have to come back since didn't know it was an arch even though I clearly stated size and shape when I called. Said would be back on Monday but didn't get back out until Friday. Made a template then it took about 10 days to get the actual estimate from their supplier. I actually had problems with 3 of 4 companies I used for getting a timely estimate. So that is why they stayed in the running. Ultimately, their quote was $250 less then the next lowest and $500 less than the highest I received so they won and I kept my fingers crossed. It took 4 weeks instead of 2 they said to get the glass in. But the actual install went very well, was on time and done in about 50 minutes. I'm going to have to clean off some excess silicone and hand prints but otherwise it looks good. Actually getting a window replacement was quoted as $2000 so paying less than half of that was worth it.
Description of Work: Replaced glass in a 87" x 45" arch window using Lo-E insulated glass including a starburst grid pattern. Was $240.00 for labor (2 man install) and $590.32 for the glass. This includes 1 year warranty on the labor and 10 year warranty on the seal which was equal to the longest warranty others offered for a large arch window.

I called the main number and asked for a quote, which they were able to provide a close estimate over the phone. I was able to drop off the window frames after hours in their convenient drop off box. The work done in a few days as promised, and I was able to pick them up from the same drop box. The final cost was very close to the estimate, and they windows looked great.
