Established in 1962 with one shop in Seattle, Wash., today Glass Doctor offers complete glass repair, replacement and services to the residential, automotive, and commercial markets at more than 300 locations in the United States and Canada. Glass Doctor began franchising in 1977 and in 1998 joined The Dwyer Group, Inc., an international franchisor of service industry companies. At that time the company’s corporate headquarters relocated to Waco, Texas. Now there are more than 175 Glass Doctor franchise owners across the United States and Canada ready to serve you. Description of Work: I had glass cut for the top of a dresser and two bedside tables, to protect the wood from scratches. I thought it was a bit expensive, but I'm really glad I did it. The pieces of glass were made precisely to my specifications. The sales person was helpful in suggesting the correct thickness of the glass. Glass Doctor also accepted a coupon I found on line.

I marked the price as a "B" only because I'm not familiar with the costs for this work. I am really pleased and would use them again.

Description of Work: The estimator showed up on time. He was pleasant and professional. I needed glass in a 2nd story window replaced in our old house. Their estimate came in $50 higher than the competition, their estimate was $225. I decided to use somebody else based on price.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS ON THE TELEPHONE. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY ONLY SENT ONE GUY OUT TO DO A JOB THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY TWO GUYS BECAUSE OF THE ENORMITY OF THE DOOR. HE GOT THE GLASS IN O.K,, BUT THERE ARE A FEW LITTLE PLACES WHERE THE RUBBER DOESNT SEEM TO BE IN RIGHT. THE DOOR SEEMS TO WORK FINE THOUGH.
