They did a very good job. They showed up on time and finished when they said they would. They didn't make a mess and were very clean. They were very professional. They were not very expensive.

Very well! They were neat, communicated with my husband while they were there. We did have to call them back for a spot that was missed - Norman came right out within a day or two of being called. Called me when he was done....left us a note. Just very comfortable to work with and I will use him again....we have future projects.

Norman was polite, informative, and an overall gentleman. He gave me advise as to properly care for the wood and maintain it for a lifetime. I was delighted when after an installation of a new library, Norman was sent to me from the company. He was to fix some of the scratches and irregularities present after the workmen had completed their project. A set of French doors leading to the library had been gaged during the work process and Norman was commissioned for the repair. As usual he did his magic and it is beautiful. Originally I had commissioned Norman for work and secondly he was authorized by a private party to do work. Both times the end result was perfect.

Mr. York was very nice, gave me an approximate quote on the phone (although he was firm about the fact that he needed to see the sofa, etc.) and made an appt for about a week later- at my request. He called 3 days prior to the appt to say he had forgotten that he and his wife would be out of town and we rescheduled for one day later. I found Mr. York to be very punctual and respectful of my home. He looked at the sofa, explained how he could repair it and how much it would cost. When he got to one part, he explained that he could do it 2 different ways- one costing more because of the time involved-''time is money'', he said. It was impossible to tell that he had taken the back leather all of the way off. Mr. York took a phone call on his cell and took that time off my bill. He did slightly scratch a coffee table, but repaired it and the scratch is invisible. I highly recommend he and his services. On top of it, he was a really nice guy.

I HAVE NOT BEEN PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I WAS GIVEN. HE TOLD ME UPON TAKING OUR KITCHEN TABLE THAT HE WOULD HAVE IT FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS. HE HAD THE TABLE FOR 3 AND ONE HALF MONTHS. I CALLED HIM REPEATEDLY AND EACH TIME HE WOULD TELL ME SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT OF ''JUST A FEW MORE DAYS''. IT WAS NEVER ''JUST A FEW MORE DAYS''. FINALLY TOWARD THE END I EXPRESSED MY ANGER AND FRUSTRATION TO MR. YORK. HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD THE TABLE SO LONG BECAUSE I HAD TO PICK OUT THE STAIN COLOR. THIS WAS UNTRUE AS THE PROCESS FOR ME TO PICK OUT THE STAIN COLOR WAS HIM DRIVING TO MY HOUSE ONE DAY AND ME TELLING HIM THE STAIN COLOR WAS FINE. I WAS SO ANGRY WITH HIS RESPONSE. SINCE THEN HE HAS HAD TO RETURN TO FIX A CRACK IN THE NEW FINISH. HE TOOK THE TABLE AND RETURNED IT WITH A MATTE FINISH. NOW THE LEAVES, WHICH ARE A HIGH GLOSSY FINISH, DON'T MATCH THE REST OF THE TABLE. AAARRGGHH!

HE DID THE WORK, BUT THERE WERE ASPECTS THAT I WASNT HAPPY WITH. HE SAID THAT WAS BECAUSE SOME OF THE WOOD HAD BEEN DAMAGED & I WOULD INCUR ADDITIONAL COSTS TO BRING THINGS TO THE LEVEL I EXPECTED. I FEEL HE SHOULD HAVE SHARED THIS ORIGINALLY. NOW IVE PAID A GOOD DEAL WITHOUT ACHIEVING THE RESULTS I EXPECTED.
