Description of Work: One morning recently I discovered my furnace not working. I called about 8:00 a.m., and by 1:30 p.m. that same day Sedgwick had made the service call, and made the necessary repair. Also, while working on the furnace discovered another part that was about to fail, gave me the option of fixing it then, or waiting until it went out (so was not pressured to replace it), and also gave several recommendations related to both the furnace and my central humidifier system that will help prevent unnecessary service calls in the future, and improve performance. Total cost of repair, another new part replacement, and lots of good advice - $200. Worth every dollar.

Description of Work: The service was performed as part of a plan I have with Sedgwick. Twice a year the company sends a technician to check my furnace (in the fall) and my air conditioning (in the spring). They also send reminders when it is time for a maintenance check. All of the technicians have done excellent work. In addition, they provide explanations and suggestions regarding the use of my healing and cooling systems. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: The technician listened to our description of what preceeded the issue with our Central AC and then diagnosed and fixed the problem. He also verified that every part of the system was functioning properly before finishing. He explained what happened and why. He also answered other questions we had that were unrelated to the service call.

Description of Work: Fixed AprilAire humidifier on the furnace, then cleaned and replaced the motor in our air to air exchanger. |Came out right away (next day). Had to order a part and quoted accurate timeframe and cost. Promptly returned to install the part when it came in. Great experience and we will definitely use them for any future HVAC and pluming work we need done.

Description of Work: I had the AC unit disconnected last Fall for some regrading on the side of the house and they came out to reconnect it. I really liked the guy who came out. However, I think I was charged twice what I should have been. Also, although he came during the window of time I was told someone would come out he came in the later part and my afternoon with it was later than I had planned.

Description of Work: Had our furnace inspected & tuned up. Service tec did a fine job. He noticed that the inducer motor bearings were making more noise than is normal. He asked about the age of the furnace and suggested I look into the warranty coverage to see if this might be covered. Unfortunately my about 10 year old Lennox had a limited 5 years warranty except for the heat exchanger, which is covered for 20 years. I'm hiring Sedgwick to go ahead and replace this inducer motor so I'm not left in the cold when it fails.

Description of Work: I had Sedgwick install a new AC in my house. They made a lot of promises during the estimate that then they didn't keep or that I had to chase them down to receive. This included a programmable thermostat (they decided during installation that my existing thermostat was "fine" even though it wasn't programmable), a drain pump, a free air duct cleaning, and an expansion of my electrical system to handle the additional capacity. The last item they still are refusing to do because, again, they determined later that I had enough capacity (which I just had an electrician come to give me an estimate on adding an outside outlet... he said I had no more capacity). I've also had to have Sedgwick come out 2 times to fix a leaky pump. Now I will have to call them a third time because it's still leaking onto the floor, which has now left a stain mark. I've asked to get things in writing multiple times but they will only respond with a phone call... which just shows they know what they are doing and trying to screw me. I wouldn't recommend them at all!
