Maple saplings were growing in the open gutters of the townhome I just purchased. I called Rain Gutter Service in the morning and the gutters were cleaned within a few hours. Since I couldn't be at the house when the gutters were cleaned the serviceman left the bill in the door. Unbelievable in an age when payment upon completion of work is the norm. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

Got the estimate over the phone. Their guy came the same day and cleaned the gutters. Did a great job.

I was not at home when they came. They did the work while I was not there. It was fine. We spent about $150. I don't know what others would charge. The price was average. I will use this company in the future.

The 2 men that showed up to do the job were polite and pleasant to deal with. They got right to work and finished the job in about 2 hours. They took apart and put back together the downspouts where needed and made sure to show us that everything was running freely when they were done. They also cleaned and removed all the debris when they left. They did a wonderful job.

Great job. I called them and they were able to come out 2 days later. Gutters are clean and all the mess cleaned up and removed. Good company.

In a word: Fast! They were able to get out to my home in a couple days, and the gentleman who performed the cleaning did a very thorough job and only took about an hour. (My gutters were completely full of leaf debris, so it was definitely time to get it done.) He picked up all the debris before leaving and left the property clean. They did charge a little extra ($20) because I live in an outer ring suburb (West Lake Minnetonka) but I thought that was fair. Highly recommend!

Their work was fabulous. They never even got on the roof to mar our shingles. They did it all from scaffolding so we didn't have any bad looking shingles. The price was very good and fair.

Answered his phone right away, asked a number of questions on the phone to determine price. Was able to do the work the same day. When I came home about the bottom 4 feet of the roof had been cleared and the snow that had fallen on the sidewalk had been cleared away (leaving the sidewalk clear). The only complaint I have is that I believed he was also going to steam the ice dams and that did not happen. When I shoveled 2-3 days later (the first time I saw the house in daylight) I was dismayed that I still had a solid row of icicles hanging down from the eaves and still had about a 6" ice buildup at the edge of the roof although it had not rained or snowed since then. I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps we miscommunicated about what I wanted done. I would probably use him again but I would want to make sure he and I clearly understood what was to be done. Otherwise he was prompt and courteous.

They met my expectations and I have no issues with the company. They came on a Sunday and they were done promptly.

I called a number of Angie's List A-rated vendors and was alarmed at the high minimum charges and high hourly rates beyond the first hour. I couldn't get anyone to estimate how long it would take or how much lighter our wallet would be after the intervention -- until I reached Terry of Rain Landscape and Gutter Cleaning Services. He gave me a flat rate for clearing the roof ($250) and an Angie's discount on top of that. He promised that someone would be on my roof by 9:00 a.m. the next morning -- which they were! The fellow was friendly, efficient, and thorough -- and he left the invoice in the mailbox as Terry said he would. We were delighted with the job that was done -- and the confidence I had in choosing my vendor from among the A-rated services listed on Angie's List.

From the phone call to get an estimate through completion of work the experience was excellent. He answered the phone immediately both times I called. If you are reading this review you can stop looking and just call them. They were very reasonable in cost and exceeded my expectations on the job. On one side of the roof they went up higher to clear away the snow from the vents that were totally covered. We will be calling them in a few months to have our gutters cleaned and will use them again next year if we get snow like this again.

I called them and they got someone to come out that day. It worked out well. The guy was really friendly.

They came out the next day and that was great. They came out pretty fast as it was an emergency. They were very professional. They did what they said they would do. Their price was cheap. I didn't have to actually talk to them very much but when I did it was great.

I was very happy with their service. They were very thorough. They came out sooner than I had expected. We were happy with the job.

I called on Wednesday during a very busy week and they couldn't schedule the work until the following Monday. But when I came home on Friday night, the work was done and I was so happy! They had another job just a block away and were able to fit me in. I'm pleased with the results and would use this company again. Note: I do not believe they use steam to remove the ice, although I wasn't home when the work was done. If you want the ice steamed off the roof, you should ask whether they offer this service.

Excellent experience, from initial phone call to paying for service I was very pleased. Terry managed to get his crew here earlier than expected (@ very bust time), they went right to work, were informative & polite, and completed the job, ( with excellent cleanup), in a couple of hours, or less. I offered a check, but was pleased & surprised to get an invoice left with me for mailing. Terry Spotts was honest & trustworthy with me, and allowed me to feel that same confidence as a customer. I had a large build up of ice and snow on the front corner of my home's roof and was concerned that it could do damage to my roof and wanted it removed. I called Terry on Wednesday 2/24 and was given an estimate over the phone for the work I requested. He came out the next day and did a wonderful job. If it weren't for the missing snow and ice, I would never have know he had been there. The work was well done and no damage was done to my landscape or home. I was very pleased with the prompt and pleasant service and the bill was exactly what I was quoted over the phone.

My roof had a large build up of ice with icicles in front and back. Concerned about potential roof damage and leakage I called Terry on Thursday, 2/18 for an estimate. He provided an estimate over the phone and said that although his team was booked through the weekend, he would try to get someone to my house the following day. They weren't able to get to my house on Friday because of other jobs, but Terry called first thing Saturday morning and had a crew at my house by 10am that day. They worked quickly and had all of the ice build up removed within one hour. I thought that the price was fair and was impressed with the overall value.

They did a really good job. We needed an extension put on, and they were able to do that without any problem.

I called Terry last weekend about our ice dams. He answered the phone and took my info and said they would be out by Wednesday. He gave me a reasonable estimate and the work was done Tuesday when I returned home from work. I would definitely call him again.

Terry was booked with other clients agreed to do work following week. He sent an employee who completed work on 2/16/2010. Employee was friendly and courteous. Had to push some of the snow from roof onto sidewalk and driveway which he shoveled away when job was completed. It was late afternoon, nearly dark outside when he finished. We did not discover until the next day that a large amount of additional snow and ice from the roof was piled up on deck; it took a lot of work for us to remove. (Not sure the deck could hold the weight of the additional snow and ice.) I am certain if we called, Terry would have sent the employee back to help remove the snow from the deck. We are grateful the work was completed and we do not need to worry about ice dam damage to the roof.
