The guys did a great job and carted off everything we wanted them to take. Quick, easy, and punctual.

Once we bought the coupon, they contacted me via email and phone to set up a time. It was very easy. The guys who hauled the stuff were on time and were fast packing up our junk.

Junk Happens showed up on time and asked me to direct them to what needed to be hauled. After reviewing the three piles, they quickly got to work. Once they were finished, they went over the numbers, kindly asked if I was satisfied and then asked for payment, instead of the other way around. They were fast, thorough and cleaned up where they made a mess. I'd have these folks out anytime. They were a part of Angie's 'big deal' and were worth every penny.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Professionalism deserves an A+ I'd use them again and recommend them to others without any qualms.

When they came out they were very cordial and prompt. They were not able to take the items that I had within the Big Deal. They were able to help me through the refund process and were very professional about it. They have even followed up with me to ensure the refund was completed.

Two man crew came on-time, were courtious, handled job very well. Took off one door. Job took about 10 minutes and they were done. Well done - would use again.

I found Junk Happens on Angies. I contacted them via their website as my home looked outside the service territory. Chris replied promptly and was happy to come out my way. I booked online, picking a date/time two days out. I got a prompt reply confirming my requested time. On the day of delivery, the truck arrived a few minutes early (a plus in my mind). I was initially concerned because one person arrived, and I had two items that were quite heavy (desk and large wood table) that I thought would require two people. But he had absolutely no problems moving these and all the items. He was very professional and pleasant, asking about my coupon, should he remove his shoes and the best route to take the items out of the house. It took 15 minutes for him to load the truck. I used my Angie's coupon, and I am very pleased with the service. I will recommend them to others.

The lady who scheduled the pick up as extremely friendly. She worked us into the schedule with no problem. The gentleman who came and picked up the junk was very professional. He was here right on time, he loaded everything up, and he even swept up the area where the pile of junk was. Excellent Service!!

Purchased the service as an Angies' List Special Deal. The service provider did not respond iniitially within the 2-day window they are given. Furthermore, when I responded to the Angie's List follow-up e-mail (the one they send out 2 days after acceptance of a deal.......to verify you have heard from the service provider), Angies's List did not get back to me promptly either. Several days later I did hear back from both JUNK HAPPENS and Angie's List apologizing for the communication breakdown all the way around! Seems like JUNK HAPPENS never received the notification of my acceptance of the Deal thru the Angies's List system.....or they received it very late. It also seems that JUNK HAPPENS never received my personal e-mail asking about the status of my Deal. I am willing to write this off as one of those accidents that sometimes happen....

We were very pleased with their service. The removal guys were friendly and did great work. We are already using them again. Scheduler, Chris, is very responsive and helpful. We will gladly recommend them.

It went great. Both guys were prompt, professional and courteous. Definitely will use them again.

Scheuduled online for a $10.00 discount. Called to confirm appointment. Appointment had not gone through but they honored my request. We had garbage in everyroom. Half was bagged up, half was loose. We had everything imaginable. Items we couldn't sell or give away, they took. From paints, tools, mattresses, furniture, metal shelves, expired food storage etc. They filled one truck...dumped, they filled a second load...dumped and then came back for a third time for a final 1/2 load. Twelve years of "stuff" from raising six children and now "down sizing" I would have been in tears if not for Junk Happens and Bob and Dave. They were fast and still had a smile on their faces. Well worth the money.

They were honest, prompt, and professional. For someone who hasn't done this before they were very patient and good listeners as well as good information providers.

Great people from the person who does the scheduling to the guys that showed up to haul the stuff from our house! Professional, friendly and hard working. Very competitive pricing from a local business which is nice to see. We will use them in them in the future for any junk hauling needs.

The workers were very pleasant and efficient. I would use them again and I highly recommend them. They did all of the labor.

I recently made a reservation with Junk Happens to pick up miscellaneous items from the basement of my building. I submitted my information via the company's website on approximately March 4 and requested a pickup between 8:00am and 10:00am on the morning of Thursday, March 15. I received prompt email confirmation of date and time from John Hengen (who I believe to be the owner) and Dave Kocemba, whose email I've copied below: "Hi Matthew, Thank you for booking with Junk Happens. We have you scheduled on March 15th from 8 - 10 am. We will call before we are in route. Thank you!" It is now nearly noon on March 15 and I have yet to hear from anyone at Junk Happens. I have attempted to contact John Hengen, but I have been unable to speak to him personally. He has not returned my messages. Given my experience with this company, I cannot recommend them.

I made an on-line appointment 2 days before collection. They called to confirm and determine how much stuff I had. They came at my ideal time within the window I gave them and quickly & efficiently removed some old cabinets, a roomful of old paint, stain, grout, drywall mix and other construction debris as well as a few misc items. All in all about 1/6 load of mostly hazmat materials.

I had all the boxes and packing trash ready to be loaded. I was given courteous and prompt service. I will be calling this company again.

Showed up, loaded old TV on a cart, took apart the old cabinet and carried the pieces away. Loaded old desk chair and gas on truck. I helped, and got a 10% discount.

The two people who came - John and Dave - arrived exactly on time, discussed and gave an estimate we felt was very fair, honored our Angie's List coupon, as well as online booking fee, and then proceeded to haul away the junk efficiently and quickly. Some pieces of construction debris were too big to fit into our cars, so hauling it to the waste center would have been extremely challenging for us with our compact car. It has been a huge relief to have professionals quickly remove our junk with the right hauling truck and experience.

I have too much to do with too little to do it with!I had spotted one of these trucks near a recycling center, which gave me the impression that they really do recycle stuff. So I contacted them online and made the appointment to get the good stuff re-used and toss what needed to go. I was given a 2 hour window, but I called to ask if they could come a little later,as I was still at work. I left a message hoping they would get it before they left. I got a call back within the window, confirmed my address ( which was a good thing as they would have ended up in New Zealand). I was very pleased with the work D&D provided ( they both had the same first name..funny) anyway, I needed to get some stuff out of the basement, attic and garage. I showed the guys which was good and which was un-good. I was at the end of their day, but the guys were energetic, polite and nice! I will clean out the rest of the garage next year, so they'll be back!

I made an appointment to have the service performed after talking on the phone to one fo the partner's in the co. to get a phone estimate, knowing it might not be terrbily accurate as the co. was not able to see the amount of stuff I had prior to doing the work. The appointed time we had set up came and no one showed up! I called and called and called the number of the guy I had spoken to and he never answered or returned my calls! After nearly 2 hours of waiting, I finally tracked down and called other numbers associated with the business and I was able to reach a partner who was very apologectic, said he did not know what had happened to his partner, but he could dispatch a truck as soon as possible. Though I was annoyed by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by his partner, I felt like I had to go ahead as I only had a few days left before my closing date on my house and I had no idea if I would be able to find another co. on such short notice. I also decided to give them the benefit of the doubt - I figured it was possible that something had happened to the partner that truly prevented him from turning up or contacting me - accidents happen, so I asked him to dispatch a truck as soon as he could. A truck showed up not too long after that (maybe an hour later?) and the two young men who staffed the truck were very fast, courteous, efficient, helpful, and pleasant to work with. They quickly had the place empty and ready to be cleaned. Ultimately the price was more than the phone quote, but I had a nearly full truck-load of stuff so I was okay with the price and I know doing an accurate phone quote for this type of service is pretty tough,. Upon reflection, I probably should have asked for a discount in consideration of the 3-4 hours I had to wait for a truck to get there and the unprofessional behavior of my initial contact at the co. on the day of service.

I contacted them online and received a confirmation of our appointment for the next day very quickly afterwards. They came promptly and were courteous and professional and personable. They estimated the cost of hauling first, then proceeded to complete the job. I had them back a few weeks later to remove a stack of old wall panels and furring strips from our basement. They were able to break the panels up as needed and carry out the pieces of furring strip in their own tubs. Again, they did a superior job, and I'd have them back for any other hauling needs.
