Junk Happens

Eric & Nick arrived within the 2 hour window. They were kind, personable, & worked hard. I really appreciated how they took their time loading their truck so that the space was efficiently used, saving me money. They worked fast! I definitely recommend this company & they will be my first call if I ever need this type of help again. Thanks, guys!!!

I contacted Junk Happens through their website on Monday and was able to make an appointment for Tuesday morning. The two-man crew showed up on time, were friendly and professional, worked quickly, and stopped at two different houses for me. The price seemed very reasonable for all the stuff they took, including items they'll have to pay extra for like the refrigerator. Very happy with this service.

I called and got scheduled for the next day. I discussed items I needed removed and she confirmed they were all acceptable (they are listed as items they accept on their website too). The driver and co-worker showed up a bit early which was great. The reviewed items and informed me the bed and TV were extra costs. In looking at previous reviews I see most in the $200 - $350 range with far bigger items than I had (pianos, bath tubs, etc...) yet charged me $575. That's a ridiculous amount.

Three workers and they were extremely fast in about an hour it was all in their truck and out of my garage. They very friendly, fast and even if it does?sound odd for this type of job were very professional. This is the third time I have used the service two previous times they removed a large amount of wood and yard waste.?

Great service overall. I called on a Thursday requesting service ASAP & they scheduled me for the next morning. Nick & Eric were great. They called ahead to let me know they were about 30" out & arrived within the scheduled window of time. They were professional, friendly, & patient with me as I did a couple last walk throughs to see what other items I wanted them to take. Very happy with the service overall & glad I called these guys. If you haven't used it in over a year, or completely forgot you even owned it in the first place, call these guys to come & take it away for you. :)

Eric, Nick & Todd were fantastic! They were courteous, pleasant, thoughtful about taking off their shoes in my house, responsive to any questions, and very helpful. For $499 (after the Angies List coupon) it was a great value. It feels wonderful! I should have done this years ago. They were great and I absolutely recommend them.

We had a number of book shelves, misc scrap lumber, a metal file cabinet, furniture and other junk that we needed to have hauled away. I found Junk Happens here on Angie's list and contacted them. One of our main criteria was whether or not they would come into the house and haul the stuff out (they would) and could they be there on the day that i needed them (they could). I was given a window for when they would arrive and they arrived on time! I showed them what we needed to have removed, which was quite a bit more than I initially thought we would have, Dave gave me an approximation for what it would cost and they went to work. While at our house Dave and his crew were courteous, polite and worked efficiently. Within a very short period of time all of our junk was removed and loaded onto their truck. I was very pleased with the service and if I need to, I will definitely use their services again!

The young men were personable and easy to work with.The contact person was accomodating, and reachable, changing my date of service for me because of a family emergency.

One of my rental properties had a fire situation. There were literally tons of trash that needed to be removed, from burned furniture, electronics and clothes that the tenant left behind, to fire debris such as plaster dirt from the fire rescue. I knew this was going to be a big project. I found Junk Happens from Angie's list and called them. Dave came the next day morning, and inspected the site. He was very professional, honest and courteous. He was a ex-fire fighter himself. Dave gave a straight estimate of 2 truck loads of trash with no additional labor charge, and some very reasonable additional charges. For example, to cut off a big metal bunk bed frame and remove it, he only charges $25. Dave and his crew came the very next day. They did an incredible job, not only had all the trash removed, but cleaned the fire site thoroughly. The trash turned out to be more than 2 truck loads, though he had a bigger than usual truck. It filled almost 4 truck loads, but Dave stayed with his original estimate and only charged me for 2. To put it in perspective, the clean-up cost hat my general contractor listed in his estimate sheet was over $6000. Dave will have all my future cleaning business, and I highly recommend Junk Happens to anyone who has any trash removal needs.

Excellent experience - on time, very professional and nice.

They had a lot issues with rental trucks so they had to have the guys manually shovel the dirt. They gave us a discount and in the end it worked out okay.

The men were polite and came on time. They loaded everything up and when I thought that was all they could take, they offered that there was still room for more. I would recommend this company to anyone.

There were additional charges but I had more junk than they had planned. It was fine.

Requested 1/4 truck (4.5 cu yds). All we had to do was set the time and line up the stuff. When I asked what 4.5 cu yds looks like I was told about two laundry machines with large trash bags on top. Plus there would likely be extra room on the truck if I wanted to move toward 1/2 a truck with a reasonable increase in cost. They called ahead of time on the appointed day and said all they had on the truck was a king-sized mattress and spring--lots of room. So we came up with some add'l stuff and got rid of lots more than would fit in a 1/4 truck. When I asked them how much extra I owed them--the truck was not bulging but quite full--he said they were good and thanks for the business! So we were very pleased.

The three men from Junk Happens were professional, prompt and efficient. This company provides a great service. I will recommend them and will use them again.

The two men who carried all of our stuff from the basement and upstairs were professional, SO hard working, quick and very nice to work with. They were fabulous. This is the 2nd time I've hired Junk Happens and they're the best in the business and very well priced.

Very well and cheaper then a dumpster and I would have had to carry the stuff!

Excellent! Dave called to let me know he was on his way and roughly what time to expect them. They were friendly upon arrival and willing to answer any questions. They hauled away all of the stuff we had laid out quickly and left the area clean. Junk Happens also sorts out things that can be donated, which is a great add. Would absolutely recommend and use again.
