Junk Happens

I was happily impressed by the ease with which they dealt with some heavy, bulky items.

I was extremely happy with Junk Happens. I purchased the $99.00 coupon, and we set up a date and time based on what I wanted. They arrived Saturday morning, 15 minutes early, which was okay with me. We went over what I wanted to remove and what stays. Then these two very courteous ("Should we remove our shoes in the house?") men started taking away my items. Some items removed were two overstuffed leather sofas, three end tables, electronics, bedframe and headboard, a floor lamp and table lamp, suitcases and smaller items. This took less than a half hour! Also, I was told upfront, that if the items constituted more than a 1/4 truck load (value of the coupon), the additional cost (based on the size of the truckload) may be additional. I had 1/3 of a truckload and was charged less than $50. Great service, really nice guys, excellent price for the service performed....you can't beat that!.

Two guys in a clean truck were on time and quickly removed two televisions at the previously agreed upon price. No problem.

Ben and Josh were exceptional. They had us tell them where to find the junk we wanted removed and politely and efficiently took everything. They even saved us $60 in recycling fees by volunteering a place we could get rid of 3 television sets for free.

Junk Happens was at my house today and they did everything I asked and than even more! We've lived in our house for over 21 years. After raising kids and many building projects we really cleaned everything out! Furniture, a big old TV, sofa, chairs, old yard timbers, and lots of just plain junk. I found Junk Happens through one of their coupon deals here on Angie's List. I bought the coupon and they were in contact with me in less than a day. I dragged a lot of stuff out into our yard and pole barn. The really heavy stuff that I couldn't lift I left in the house. Junk Happens arrived right on time. Very professional, polite and very nice young men. The started work right away and did all the lifting hauling and junk removal. All I did was stand and watch in awe! These guys were very strong and knew exactly what they were doing. When the left all my junk was gone! Everything was cleaned up and no problems at all were encountered. I give Junk Happens my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

It took several calls and emails to finally make contact and confirm a service date. The person on the phone said she had not received the order (Angie's List Big Deal), but upon checking she did find it. By the time we made contact, it was too late to meet my original date, which was no big deal, so we set another that was mutually agreeable. On the date & time of service, I made arrangements to leave a meeting so I could be back in time for the pickup and to direct the men as to what needed to be loaded and hauled away. They did not show up on time and, when I called an hour later, I got a song and dance about how they'd run into an unexpectely large pick-up, etc. When the men did arrive, they were very pleasant to work with and took some things they normally wouldn't without a surcharge, which was nice of them. The man in charge waived the charge because they were so late (almost 2 hours). Once they were onsite, I was pleased with their work, their courtesy, and their cooperativeness. They quickly carried everything to the truck and loaded it. As I told the men and the dispatcher, their being late would not have been a problem if they had called to let me know, but they did not. Because of their lack of professionalism in this respect, in not notifying me ahead of time of the delay, I would hesitate to use them or recommend them to others.

They had to cut the box springs, no way to get them up (I had no idea how they got down). Otherwise, everything was quick. The only negative was that they didn't get here in the 2 hour window due to local road construction. I called around the end of the 2 hours window and was told they were on their way. I'd have given a higher score if they would have called me to say they were running late. Chris did call back about 15 minutes later to provide a more accurate estimate on when the truck would arrive. I was happy with the service and would use them again.

This was my third experience with Junk Happens. I have scheduled with Kris on the phone each time and she has always been ready and responsive. They have removed an old fridge in the past as well as other household items. Each time, they have been easy to schedule, showed up in the stated window and been very helpful. On the most recent visit, Josh came to pick up household items. He had a great attitude and was very helpful. This is a great company to work with.

I got a pick-up later in the same day that I called for am appointment. It was great to have all of it be carted away.

We were able to dispose of a full truck worth of garbage. They carried all the items we were getting rid of to the truck. They did an excellent job.

Everything went well. They picked up the stuff we wanted to get rid of and quickly loaded the truck and they were off, leaving us with more room in our garage.

My husband and I had been trying to move for a couple of weeks and we were just spinning our wheels.. I got an Angies deal for Junk Happens and they were very professional even if I didn't have all our junk in order they were great at grabbing whatever I pointed at..

They hauled it all away quickly.

Junk Happens was prompt, professional, and timely. We bought a special to receive a 0.25 truckload of trash/junk removal. We got exactly what we asked for. I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone!

I was given a range of time that they would show up. They were there. The professionalism of these guys was fantastic. The two that came to my house were Dave (not the owner) and Tyler. Very good, took off their shoes, extremely polite, were in and out, they did an excellent job. I would use Junk Happens again and recommend them whole heartedly.

Great Service. I loved Junked Happens and loved the fact that I could point to something to haul away and they grabbed it and through it in their truck. They were prompt, professional, and quick. Absolutely would use again.

They were excellent and very reasonable. They were very focused on their work and really polite. They were really responsible and asked if there was more they could do. They did their work really fast. They did a lot of work and never stopped. I liked that they donated a lot of the stuff they hauled off.

It was fine. Everything was good. I would use them again.

Arrived as expected - all went well.

The crew arrived exactly on time and picked up all of the "junk" that I had ready to go in our garage. The did all of the lifting and swept-up after they were done. Great service!

I assembled the things to be taken on the apron of my garage; they drove into my driveway with a truck and placed all the items in their truck and hauled it away. Phase 1 of garage clean up done; Phase 2 underway now for a repeat call.

No problem at all. Don't remember exact cost.
