On time. cleared everything and also swept out the garage..

They ended up doing some more since they charged by the area. I did have to pay additional and they let me know that up front. Two guys came out and they were really nice and friendly. I also spoke with a lady on the phone with questions that I had as well as set up scheduling.

Wonderful. The young men who showed up were friendly and efficient. They worked very hard and didn't make a mess at all. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

After attempting to set up a time the week before, I was finally able to schedule for Friday May 23; had a window from 12-2 p.m. At 2:30 I called and said no one had come yet; got a return call that there was a problem with some of the trucks being out on training missions but that they would arrive shortly, probably one small struck with an almost full load already on it, then a larger one later. Sure enough the smaller truck arrived moments later and was indeed 3/4 loaded; the guy was very nice and got as much on as he could, then took off, informing us the second truck was in West St Paul and had to dump in Brooklyn Park before coming to us in C*** Rapids. About 40 minutes later, the second truck arrived, but it also had a lot of stuff on it, including a bunch of carpeting they hadn't expected. They really struggled to get the furniture out, which was impressive and they were good courteous workers (we later discovered a light switch had snapped off in the struggle, but we didn't report this as it is easily replaced and understandable in the tight space they had). The real shock came at the final price. Over the phone, I'd mentioned I had an Angie's list coupon that had expired for 1/4 truck for $99, which they kindly said they would honor and because we'd have more than that, gave a discount of $230 (appx), saying it sounded like it may cost an additional $130-200. When I was given the bill at the end and it read $700 after discount, it was very surprising, in part because it's absolutely impossible to judge how much of each truck we actually used. I know it was more than 1/4 of a truck for sure, I just felt stunned at the final amount. So: final judgement is: bad on organization, timeliness and MAYBE? value? Because I can't tell. Very courteous and good at getting the stuff out quickly and efficiently (again, the lightswitch doesn't count) and they even swept out the garage afterwards. If I ever use a junk hauler again I would need to know more information from the service provider about how to figure out a truck's worth, when there's already many other things in there.

This was the third time I used the service and as always they were great!

Bought the $99 dollar deal. Received an email and set up possible time and days. An appointment was set up by email and I called and confirmed. the appointment was the Friday before Memorial Day between 3-5. At 3:15 I received a call informing me that they needed to change the window to 4:30-6:30, because they were running late due to problems with traffic.. I agreed, It wasn't a problem. They arrived about 6. Efficiently removed the junk. I expected an extra charge for exceeding the 1/4 truckload, but was told that I didn't. The extra $65 was recycling fees for an air conditioner, and some tube monitors. The recycling fees were expected and quoted up front.

They packed the truck very tight and I have no complaints from start to finish. They worked fast and got a lot of junk out in a timely manner. When we figured it would be more than a truck load, they quick called another nearby colleague to take the rest. Called me 30 mins before arriving just as we requested and approximate cost above included recycling fees and taxes. Will definitely use them again. I called 2 other removal companies and one of them did a "NO SHOW" and the other wanted to reschedule with what works at their convenience. Its hard to find a reliable company in this situation, but I highly recommend them and will use them again in the near future!

It was excellent. Two people came out for about an hour. It was very good service, They were prompt, courteous. They worked very quickly and were very professional. I highly recommend them. I paid extra to have them haul away a computer hard drive.

Scheduling an appointment with Junk Happens went smoothly despite the fact that I had to make a change after my original scheduled time. They were very accommodating to the change. The crew showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently to remove all the items from my home. They were courteous and professional and I'm sure they saved me some money by breaking some of the items apart to take up less room on the truck. I really appreciated how quickly they worked. I will definitely call them back when I'm ready to move out of my house.

They didn't bat an eye over the weird assortment of stuff .... old propane grills (didnt have the tank attached), broken lawnmower, shelving units, etc. They were on time. Very polite. Wouldnt let me lift a thing

The scheduling was a not as I expected it to be. Much miscommunication. When we finally did have a date for the service, it seemed that everything they had to do required an extra fee, Re: take shovel out of truck $20.00. Did not rake up after they had loaded junk. Would not use again.

They were punctual, friendly and quick.

They removed it in a timely manner.

Two men arrived ahead of schedule on the day I called for service.They reviewed materials to be hauled away & estimated size of load to be less than 1/2 truck. Materials required quite a bit of heavy lifting and due to length of railing some cutting. They had all the right equipment to disassemble stuff. Pricing matched their website. Applied Angies coupon on final invoice. Cleaned depris and folded tarp. Good work. Very fast.

I initially called a junk removal firm that I used several years ago to get a price for removing things from my garage. The price quoted me seemed high and I decided to get some other bids. Junk Happens charged $100.00 less than the firm I initially contacted and they are a local firm. The staff of Junk Happens was friendly, professional and lived up to their positive reputation. Mike and Tyler showed up as scheduled and quickly removed everything that I requested they take. I will definitely call the firm again when I have things to dispose of.

I bought the $99.00 Angie's list offer, for 4 units, or 1/4 truckload, of truck space. It was described to me as about 4 washing machines worth of space. I called to schedule an appointment a few months later. I requested rates for extra in case we had more than the amount of junk specified, and was quoted rates which sounded reasonable. As it turned out, we did not go over the amount. We added on a mattress for $25, which I had been told was the rate for a mattress because that's the fee they have to pay to dump them. Two very willing workers showed up with a truck, went in to our garage and our house and took what we asked them to, and were careful to check with us about items in our pile of junk to make sure we wanted them gone. After they closed up the doors on the back of the truck, we remembered some other old patio chairs under the deck, and they were completely cooperative and courteous about reopening the truck and going back for the chairs. The paperwork changed hands and off they went, taking along a bunch of stuff I never care to see again.

They did a good job, but cost three times what I had expected. I was not told of a price beforehand, and they did not sweep up up afterwards as I had been led to believe. But they showed up promptly and did a good job of removal. I would use them again but only if I knew the entire cost beforehand.

Very good experience. Telephone person was very responsive. Felt she gave me the best deal possible. Also very personable. Called on Monday for quote and junk was picked up on Wednesday - liked the quick response. Haulers were quick and efficient. Cost very reasonable. Definitely use again.

Two pleasant guys picked up the stuff we had collected as requested. They were punctual and I would recommend their services.

They arrived on time and quickly hauled away all of our unwanted items. We had everything stacked neatly in our storage building. The two men were courteous and efficient..

They were very friendly, polite and professional and worked quickly. It was the second time I had used the service in the process of cleaning out my garage, and I will used them again when the time comes to clean out my basement. They answered my questions about what would likely happen to the stuff they were taking, and I felt confident in their responses.
