Junk Happens

I used them twice last summer. 4 different employees ( 2 each time) The men were strong, friendly, efficient, respectful, Exceptional experience and excellent job completed both times These jobs were not FROM the address noted under Service Details. They hauled from 579 Summit Ave St Paul.

Wonderful!! Dave and his crew worked diligently from the time they arrived to the time he finished. Dave is professional, friendly, and disciplined. He and his 4 person crew gave 100%. They were respectful of the environment around them as they worked. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

We called two days prior to needing them to pick up the last few items which needed to be hauled away to clean out the house we had sold. We had an old couch in the basement and various items (old boards, tile, old hoses....etc) in the garage. They were scheduled to be at the house at 5pm but they called and said traffic was bad and would be a bit late. That was perfect for us as we needed an extra hour to completely clean out the house. They arrived around 6:15pm and loaded all the items into their truck (including getting the sofa out of the basement) in just a few minutes and we were all set. Very easy to work with and good communication. And the total cost was $200. Very reasonable and cheapest junk hauling I found. Would definitely recommend their service.

It went well. The crew was professional, polite, and followed the building rules of where to park. The price was a bit higher than I got over the phone, but to be fair, it was just based on a description I gave. We didn't have time to get an estimate first.

Excellent !!!!! Outstanding!!!! From 1st phone call, to wonderful, strong, respectful men who carried many heavy loads from my basement and condo on 2nd story to the truck. Exceptionally satisfied

It went well. I wish though that some of that items could have been delivered to agencies for reuse.

We are so grateful that Junk Happens took on this challenging project. It went great from beginning to end - over five days of work with several guys doing heavy work. Dave gave us a very fair quote and was extremely responsive throughout the project and We highly recommend Junk Happens and we plan to use them again in the near future.

James, Nick and David from Junk Happens came out on time and assessed the amount of Junk that needed to be removed (1 truck and a half's worth). They went to work and in no time my basement had lost a lot of weight. They were friendly and assured me that my 20 years of accumulated Junk wasn't an issue ...that they'd seen a lot worse. Great job guys..you rock! To the owner of Junk Happens I would advise him to do whatever is necessary to retain these guys as they are great workers. I would definitely use them again and also recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thanks again guys!

Very well. I'd like to thank Amber (front office staff), Nick and Todd (haulers). I made a call to Junk Happens around 4:00 PM on Monday evening & I had a scheduled pickup window two days later, on Wednesday, between 11-1. On the day of the pick up, I received a call stating they were running ahead of schedule and could they come earlier, of course I said.and they arrived 15 minutes after the call.:-) Nick and Todd were punctual, personable and polite. On a Friday I left a message on Junk Happen's website and within 1/2 hour I had an appointment for removal on Monday morning. They showed up right on time, skillfully maneuvered a large hide-a-bed couch out of my condo, onto the elevator, and out the door. They were polite and professional and I was charged the quoted price.

The employees were courteous and helpful. They were running a few minutes behind schedule but called to let us know when they would arrive.

Fantastic experience! The team that came to load up and haul away were so easy to work with. They arrived when they said, and although there was a delay with a third person it did not impact me at all and I was able to return to my work. They were professional and friendly. I had initially hired them for junk haul away but easily added a full sized armoire to the request with a very reasonable increase in cost. The change did not phase them at all. Also, none of what they take goes to the landfill. The customer service was tremendous and I won't hesitate to use them again, and I will be quick to refer them to anyone looking for this service.

Hauled away a 3 manual electric theater-style Conn organ from basement maneuvering it throughout tight space. Arrived on-time, polite and friendly help. Awesome guys--would definitely hire again.

Arrived on time loaded up every thing quickly. This is the 3rd time I've used this company, the guys that do the work are always very friendly and professional. The prices are very fair, I highly recommend this company.

Every thing went great they arrived on time removed it all quickly kept me informed of which items would have an extra charge, like the tv. I felt the price was fair for the amount of stuff they removed. I plan on using them again in the future.

Not well. I was quite frustrated. I sent in their online form explaining what I needed. I received a response that they would "get back to me." 4 to 5 days later they still had not contacted me. I contacted them again. The contact person said that the was "up North" and had bad reception, but could email me. Thinking he was perhaps on vacation and wanting to be understanding about that, I said it was OK to talk when he returned, but that I was mostly looking for a timeframe for scheduling the job. After that he informed me that they only take "a small amount" of dirt. This was a bad experience because: 1) I felt mislead by the company's website which makes absolutely no mention of only taking "small amounts" of dirt and gives quite the opposite impression; 2) Poor communication by the company -- it took too long to get a response from them and he could have told me right away that they only took a "small amount of dirt" without the additional back and forth. I was surprised that this company has an "A" rating with Angie's List.

I called the owner, Dave, early in the year and he came out and we went through everything that I wanted to have removed. I was not quite ready at the time to have the work done, but when I called him back several weeks later, he and his crew came out within a couple of days. The first time they were here, the temperature and humidity were terrible, and even though they spent part of the day working in the hot garage, they never complained, They actually were here 4 times in all, and the outside work was extremely dirty, and again on a very hot, humid day. Eric, Nick, Joe, Mario, and Dave were all wonderful to work with. There was never a complaint, no matter what the conditions. They worked hard the whole time they were here, and were all so positive.
