Bruce showed up on time and contacted before arrival. Easy to work with. Fixed the break quickly and cleanly. Made sure all our old equipment worked and gave us plenty of refresher information on how to train the new dog. I would definitely recommend. Highly knowledgeable and friendly.

First, the initial sales and training were satisfactory. The sales person was responsive and provided a reasonable quote so we went with them. During the sales call, I indicated that the prior owner had an invisible fence and I felt it worthwhile to re-use the existing fence, but was told that because there was no electronics in the garage they would assume I was mistaken. The guy came to install the wiring and again I mentioned I thought there was existing wiring, but he said his work order called for installing wiring so he asked where we wanted it, as well as trying to up sale me on solid vs. strand copper wiring for a few hundred $s more, which I declined. I walked the lot and showed him where we wanted the fence and he began his digging. Interestingly, he cut thru the prior wiring within 2 feet of starting, but continued to dig up the yard for the new wiring. He cut thru the wiring in multiple places, leaving the wire exposed (which the lawn mower blades hit next time I mowed the lawn) as well as cutting thru our in ground irrigation in multiple places. Upon completion, he made a comment that the old system was the more expensive upgraded solid wire. I was curious why, after digging 2 feet and exposing the old system, he continued, rather than tracing out the existing and using that? Also, we are still finding breaches/cuts in the irrigation system, so we rate the installation as lousy. I had called to bring these issues to the management, and never heard back from them. Also, we had to get a larger collar for our dog and was told to come to the office and exchange it. Drove there, waited 20+ minutes while another customer was being taken care of, then was not able to exchange a simple red collar for another red collar. Was told they had not had a delivery for awhile and so they mailed it when it arrived, and was told they would charge us $15-$20 unless we returned the old one. Basically, this has been an unpleasant, expensive, and time consuming experience.

This contact went very well. I first asked for a quote from their web page. Salesman called back within 24 hours to set a meet time at the house. After discussing what the invisible fence is and how it works, he went over the different packages available. After a couple weeks of debate, we went with the Top Dog package. After setting up a installation date and time, he showed up on time and went over the installation details. Installation went quick and problem free. He then explained what he had done and what the system comprised of. I then was contacted by the trainer to set up training times. She was very flexible and asked if it was possible to be flexible and work with her to help coordinate training with other appointments near-by. When she showed up she introduced herself and explained what she was doing and what we had to do in between appointments.

Had system installed for us about 10 years ago. This is our 2nd set of dogs now on the system and their staff helped train our dogs to the system. Have never had any problems with system or needed service work on the equipment in the 10 years we have had the equipment. Great system and works great at keeping out dogs safe in the yard. Would highly recommend getting an Invisible Fence brand system from them.

We didn't use this company because of the obnoxiously high price they quoted us. We had bought this house with the Invisible Fence wire in the ground already, but the previous owners had taken the electrical equipment and dog collar with them. The cost to get our system up and running, with a $200 discount because the wire was already in the ground and several hundred dollar off coupon from a flyer, was going to be around $1500. This price includes one dog collar, a handful of training sessions, and the "brain" of the system to be hooked up to our existing wire. We were able to find a wonderful company, also listed on craigslist, that sold us the "brain", dog collar, staked our yard, and trained our dog for $500. The equipment supplied by the 2nd company was compatable and works great. I am concerned that Invisible Fence, being such a well-known brand, is over charging customers for a service that they can get elsewhere for a much better price.

I wanted to "pinch in" an area within an existing Invisible Fence that would keep my two dogs in the back yard. Invisible Fence of N. Twin Cities (which had bought out or consolidated with the Lake Elmo group that had originally installed the system) would have done that. But the cost of doing the work AND replacing the defunct dog collars, receivers purchased with the original system by the original owners was quite high. After checking around, it appeared that I would pay nearly as much to adapt a system that was already functional (except for the collars) as I would as if I were a brand new customer! The company I eventually went with (from Angie's List) was farther away, but came down and "pinched in" the existing system, removed the base Invisible Fence transmitter, installed their own transmitter, and gave me two dog receivers, collars with some instruction. The company also gave me $100 credit for the useless transmitter and receivers I had, something Invisible Fence didn't offer. I ended up paying about HALF what Invisible Fence quoted, and I got an updated transmitter to boot.

It was difficult getting the trainer out.

Easy to work with and very friendly. They did a great job. They came out first time to place the wire, put the slot in the bottom of the driveway, and hole to get into garage. They came back second time to bury the wire and were very understanding about me not being able to find my sprinkler heads since it was a new house. (And they didn't hit any!) A little too much telephone tag would be my only negative (hence B for responsiveness), but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys - they were great.

FIRST, THE SALESMAN (DENNIS) CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO EXPLAIN THE SYSTEM AND DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENT INSTALLATION OPTIONS. NEXT, WE CHOOSE THE OPTION WE LIKED BEST, THEN SCHEDULED THE INSTALL. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WAS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ALL OF OUR REQUESTS. LASTLY, THE TRAINER CAME OUT FOR THREE TRAINING SESSIONS WITH OUR DOG. SHE IS A PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER SO SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND TAILOR THE TRAINING TO OUR DOG. THIS WAS A CONCERN OF OURS BECAUSE WE LIVE ON A BUSY STREET. OVERALL, THE PROCESS WAS SMOOTH AND TROUBLE-FREE.

I ORDERED A COMPLETE FENCING SYSTEM FOR OUR NEW DOG, ABBEY (GOLDEN RETRIEVER). MIKE PORATH CAME BY ON 2/22/05, and DID A GREAT JOB GOING OVER ALL THE DIFFERENT PACKAGES THAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER and WHAT WE WOULD NEED FOR OUR NEW DOG. WE PURCHASED THE SYSTEM and ALSO EXTRA TRAINING TO GET YOUR DOG TRAINED ON THE USE OF THE SYSTEM. GRETE KRAUSE WAS THAT TRAINER and SHE WAS WORTH THE PRICE OF SYSTEM ITSELF. GRETE HELPED ABBEY and I GET USED TO THE FENCE, and ABBEY HAS SINCE BEEN ABLE TO ENJOY OUR YARD WITHOUT THE WORRY ON OUR PART OF GETTING LOST.

EXCELLENT! EVERYONE FROM THE SALES STAFF, THE INSTALLATION STAFF, AND THE TRAINER WAS TOP NOTCH! THIS COMPANY WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM MY DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINER AND THEY LIVED UP TO THE RECOMMENDATION! THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE PRODUCT, BUT THE COST IS THE SAME IS IT WOULD BE GOING WITH ANOTHER VENDOR FOR THE SAME PRODUCT. THE TRAINING SESSIONS, WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN THE INSTALLATION COST, ARE VERY IMPORTANT, AND SOMETHING YOU WILL NOT GET IF YOU PURCHASE A DO-IT-YOURSELF PRODUCT FROM HOME DEPOT, ETC. MY VERY CURIOUS BEAGLE PUPPY LEARNED QUICKLY AND HAS NEVER CROSSED THE PERIMETER IN THE YEAR I HAVE HAD THE PRODUCT IN MY YARD. I AM A BIG FAN OF THIS PRODUCT, AND WAS VERY PLEASE WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM THIS COMPANY!

WOW! TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY! A DEFINITE RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!! THEY HAVE THEIR OWN TRAINERS AND HE CALLED AND SET UP TIMES TO MEET ME AT MY HOME TO WORK WITH MY DOGS. I HAD TO BE HOME TO BE ABLE TO GO OUTSIDE WITH HIM WITH MY DOGS. DENNIS WAS THE BEST TRAINER. HE WAS PROMPT PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK THE TIME TO WORK WITH ME AND MY DOGS. HE SHOWED ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY DOGS UNTIL THE NEXT APPT. HE ALSO SHOWED ME SOME BEHAVIOR TRAINING IE: JUMPING UP ON PEOPLE. I ALSO HAD TO CALL THEM TO HAVE MY FENCE MOVED FORWARD. THEY DID IT AS PROMISED WITHOUT CHARGING ME MORE AS A COURTESY. I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY THAT I HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDING THEM TO MY FRIENDS. THEY CHARGE MORE FOR THEIR SERVICE BUT IN THE END IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!!

NOW I'M ACTUALLY SEEING AN IMPROVEMENT IN MY GARDEN AND MY DOGS ARE BEHAVING. THE BEST PART WAS THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WAS AND IS PROVIDED. DENNIS, THE TRAINER, IS EXCELLENT AND VERY COMPASSIONATE. MY 'GIRLS' CAUGHT ON FAST. HIS BIGGEST CONCERN WAS THEIR COMFORT LEVEL. WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. FURTHERMORE, DENNIS HAS CALLED TO CHECK ON THE DOGS AND HAS OFFERED ADDITIONAL HELP. HE IS THE BEST.

EFFICIENT IN GENERAL. LOIS THE TRAINER WAS GREAT. SYSTEM IN GENERAL IS GREAT BUT SEEMS A BIT PRICEY.
