GreenGuard Construction

Greenguard won't come replace shingles that are heaved. I've been dealing with Nick from Greenguard and Atlas shingles for 1.5yrs. Both companies put blame on one another. Greenguard saying it is the Atlas shingle Manufacturer and Atlas saying it's because Greenguard didn't use correct ice and water barrier and paper wasn't laying flat before shingles were put on. I have 1.5yrs of pictures of my roof with heaves in it. Even on the day they put on shingles I noticed two issues. One was cut and another was tented up like a triangle and a worker and Nick said oh they will lay flat with heat. Well after 1.5yr they still are not laying flat. My roof is known as "the worst roofing job ever seen" Greengaurd even has a Labor Warranty agreement, but when I asked him about it, he said it wasn't the labor that caused issue. He said it's the Atlas shingle manufacturer. Atlas came and took off Shingle samples and sent in for testing to make sure there was no defect, and they said they came back negative for any defect and sent me the report, so it's Greenguards issue to replace shingles. Greenguard told me the Lumber yard were he got supplies was willing to give him everything to redo my roof, but Greenguard won't pay the labor. Well than he is not holding up to his Warranty!! Even had Attic and Insulation inspector here to make sure that was not causing issue and it came back all clear. Don't waste your time with Greenguard construction as they don't uphold their warranty and Nick will do NOTHING for his customer with issues! Nicks response to everything is -here is Atlas Shingle phone number, deal with them. What? I am a customer with major shingle issues and he tells me to deal with it and call Atlas!? Why isn't it Nick and Greenguards issue? Why is customer suppose to call manufacturer? Stay away from this Greenguard company. He has no professionalism at all.

I had never owned a house before and had never purchased a roof (though I did some roofing in my younger years). So, the project and expense had me really worried. These guys did as good a job as you could ever imagine or want. They were prompt, thorough, and their work was outstanding. I have an old house with a VERY high roof and extreme pitch. I needed new everything. My neighbor's house is very next to mine and so, during the tear off, A LOT of my old roof ended up in my neighbor's yard. Greengaurd made my neighbors yard spotless after it looked like a hurricane had torn through it. Nick was very attentive to all of my concerns and needs and went way out of his way to work with me on every aspect. If I had had to deal with me I would have been furious. He was cool and calm and understanding. I could not recommend this company enough.

Great attention to detail. Dealt directly with the insurance company. Quick and courteous. Totally cleaned up all debris. Very pleased.

I thought I might need a roof or repair and much to my surprise he said I didn't need either of them. The water stain was caused by an ice dam. When asked what I could do he suggested hiring someone or heating coils. He said I need to have the snow/ice removed from the roof to prevent ice dams.. I found him to be very honest and knowledgeable. I asked him to send me an estimate for heating coils. I would recommend him and would use him again.
