Details had been cleaning for us every two weeks for some time, and I was always very happy with their work. We recently sold our house, so I had them do a deep-clean of our place for the new owners after we had moved out all of our possessions. They did an amazingly thorough and beautiful job. I had never seen our house look so clean!

Laurie arrived promptly and was thorough in cleaning everything in our empty condo. She was also very pleasant and responsive if we asked her to work on certain areas first so we could begin moving furniture in. Note: Mike gave a quote over the phone based on my description of the condo and cleaning requirements. I suspected it would take longer than his estimate, and it did, but I still feel the price was reasonable for the work done.

I hired them to clean for us and the owner was very good and quite detailed about what we should expect. I commented on some things that were not done as they had been agreed to and there was a change the next time that the cleaner came but the contracted services were still not entirely done. In the end, the owner stated that they could not handle any more business and the taking on of our job was too much for them so they would not be able to come out any more. He did cut me a break on the final bill but I was surprised and dissappointed that the guarantee was not upheld. The cancellation took place a day before the job was to be done, as well.

Phenomenal. 1st response was almost immediate. They were able to clean within a few days. We had Eddie, who was maticulous and professional. He took about 5.5 hours and he completed everything we asked. He worked around our bustling family. He found a ton of small toys in places that I "thought" I had cleaned. His attention to detail really really impressed us....we are very picky. He pulled out furniture to get clean behind them and he dusted high above where the eye can reach. You get what you pay for with this company. The hourly rate is a little higher than others, but it is worth a quality final product.

I feel like a new woman living in a new house! My cleaning team, Miguel and Jose, were FANTASTIC!!!! Everything was spotless, they were quiet and efficient, respectful of our stuff, in a word: wonderful! I am so very, very pleased ? by Mike Newcome's help and responsiveness in getting me up and running with Details, and by the cleaning team?s outstanding work. We had a new chandelier installed in our stairwell. Cutting the hole in the ceiling caused an excessive amount of dust from plaster and insulation throughout the stairwell and into most of the rooms upstairs. The electrical contractor was very responsible in dealing with this unforeseen problem by doing some cleaning themselves and knocking some money off of our bill to pay for a cleaning service to do the rest. We called Mike and he was very responsive, emailing us an estimate right away and getting our cleaning into their schedule as soon as possible. Miguel showed up right on time and did a fantastic job hand dusting, vacuuming, and wet cleaning all of the dust. He was very personable and took care to make sure that he had done all I had asked. I am very pleased with the results!

Overall, I could not have been more pleased. First of all, Mike responded to my very short notice with quick solutions and he was very personable and easy to talk to on the phone. Then Eddie showed up exactly on time on a weekend - and began with snow shoveling! It wasn't on my list, but that's the day we had a big storm and I had recently hurt my back and asked him when he arrived if he would mind shoveling my walk, etc. He did it without hesitation! Eddie was very professional throughout the entire experience and I was really very pleased with his work. He was thorough and detailed. And when I asked him on two different ocassions to make some slight adjustments and clean something a certain way, again, he did not hesitate and his work was very very good. I will not hesitate to use Mike and his crew at Details Residential Cleaning Service Again. The price was competive and product and service was the best I've expereince in housecleaning services in many years.

We have used Details for over a year now, and overall have been well satisfied. Certainly compared to the two cleaning services that we tried before hiring Details, they have been very good. Mike runs his service in a business-like manner. He communicates well and performs the work reliably and on schedule. His service is more expensive than many of his competitors, but we found the competition did not deliver either. Some services could not assure us that they were paying their payroll and business taxes properly, which leaves the homeowner vulnerable to being classified as an employer with all the attendant IRS requirements. We did not want to be involved in questionable transactions like that, and Mike gave us specific assurances that his business dealings were proper. There have been a few times when the cleaning has not been great. Over time, one could notice the quality had slipped a little. We contacted Mike and communicated this. He responded with improved service.

Mike and his team are great. They do a nice job with the cleaning and when they miss something, they are always willing to come back and fix it if you wish. The thing I like best is the flexibility. Mike has been very responsive about moving my times around to accommodate my son's changing nap schedule. He is very easy to communicate with and I appreciate that. Details is a little more expensive than some other cleaning services, but they do everything on the up and up with payroll and taxes, I appreciate that. I recommend Mike and his team at Details.

Mike is a responsive, professional businessman who is great to deal with. He immediately responded to my web site inquiry, came over right away to give me a quote and obviously knows the industry well. The cleaning products they use are people and pet-friendly, his workers are well-paid and the company is fully insured and bonded. When he was at our house to explain the services his company provides (e.g., they start off the arrangement with a top-down, thorough overall cleaning that can take the whole day), he eyed some scary dust and cobwebs on door frames and ceiling fans and explained that his company would obviously take care of that kind of thing. (I've been paying another company to clean for the past two years, and they never touched anything besides floors and countertops.) The first cleaning was top-notch. Everything had been dusted, scrubbed and cleaned, the whole house sparkled. I'm really looking forward to working with a company that takes genuine pride in performing quality work and is also dependable.

They clean our house every other week and do a great job! Would highly recommend!

I submitted an inquiry to the company's website to discuss cost. I got a call back from the owner within a few hours. The cleaning was scheduled to occur 3-4 days later. When I came home the day of the cleaning, my house sparkled. The company doesn't ask for payment on the first cleaning until after it has occurred, and after they have solicited feedback from the customer. This company really exemplifies the highest level of customer service.

They have come out a few times & have done a great job so far. They came out on time & did a good job & they do it for a fair price & they seem to be very respectful as well.

The first contact was pleasant. The owner came to our home and told us what to expect. The service delivered extremely well.

I've been through a lot of cleaning services. Although there's inevitably little things here and there every cleaning(floor toys not getting moved for vacuuming, dusting on the top of picture frames being missed, etc.). Details has by far been the best cleaning service we've ever used. I know that if I brought any feedback up with Mike, he would address it immediately. Every time I've brought up anything, he has immediately addressed it. They leave a business card that says that they value feedback. It's great to not worry every time you give feedback that the cleaners are going to clean your bathrooms before your kitchen!

The crew does an amazing job. They are extremely professional and well organized. I get an email reminding me that they are coming two days before the cleaning. They encourage feedback. They are very responsible and I trust them completely in our house. I would highly recommend them.

I found Details here on Angie's List and contacted them based on earlier reviews and their nearby location. I have a small, typical, 1-1/2 story South Minneapolis bungalow. Mike Newcome (the owner) came over promptly, took detailed notes on my requirements, and gave me an estimate. Mike was very professional and courteous, and the price seemed reasonable, so we set a date for an initial cleaning and discussed a monthly service arrangement. Mike showed up himself to do the initial cleaning. He did an excellent and very thorough job, exactly as we had discussed. So I signed up for monthly service. Since the initial visit, Mike's team (2 ladies) has been here twice. They are also very polite and thorough. I would recommend Details to anyone.

I decided to look for a new cleaner after my former cleaners lost my house key and were not as responsive as I would have liked. Mike is very professional and detailed, and I am confident that any issues would be handled promptly. The crew did a great job and cleaned a number of areas the old cleaners never did, like the top of door casings. I highly recommend Mike and his crew.

They were very prompt and they fit me in at a time when I really needed the service. They also did a very good job with the work and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had spoken to Mike about getting some cleaning done that needed to be scheduled around a handyman visit. He had told me that he believed he could do the cleaning job, and would confirm the next day. At that time, he had told me that if he couldn't do it this week, the following week wouldn't be a problem. He counter-proposed a time before our handyman would come, which wasn't good for us. He then informed us that both this week and next week were completely full, counter to his previous statement 24 hours earlier that he'd be able to fit us in next week. Our problem was that we held off contacting others based on his assurance that he could do the job for us. To then back off in an email is very disappointing, to say the least.

I was recovering form surgery and needed my house cleaned for several weeks. He gave me a price quote the first time he came. After 3 cleanings he said the house was much easier than normal for it's size, so he gave me an extra cleaning for only $25.00.

Mike showed up right on time; was prompt in returning both my initial call, and my call to ensure they were still arriving as scheduled. He and his employee spent 6 hours, without a break, getting all the nooks and crannies very clean and up to snuff. I did have to point out some spots that needed to be re-cleaned by his employee, and things they missed in the initial run through, but Mike was very friendly about the reminders, and the job was done to my high standards. He is a St. Thomas grad in Finance, from what I understand, and made this job change to accommodate his growing family. He has a sincere desire to get the job done right, and meet when the customer wants in service. I'd recommend his services to everyone.

Overall, I think Mike did an OK job cleaning. He cleaned about 1700 square feet in 2 hours, which I thought was pretty quick. He told me that he didn't clean some blinds because he thought they looked clean, but when I looked at them after he left, I thought they looked dusty. He left a note saying that some things may have been overlooked and that they'd do a better job next time, which means they don't come back to get the things that are missed. $125 is the lowest amount he charges, and he did say that he felt bad charging me that since he thought our house was pretty clean to begin with. After Mike left the house, I saw him dump his waste water in the street. I emailed him and indicated that I was disturbed to see that, and he replied saying that he wouldn't do it again because people who witness it won't know what he's dumping. I haven't decided if I'll use him again or not.
