Details Residential Services

We hired Details to completely clean our home from top-to-bottom. They did a fantastic job, were very friendly and professional and we were very satisfied. So we signed them up for a regular monthly cleaning. There prices are not the lowest, but given their professionalism and quality, they are good rates (we've had the less-expensive cleaners steal from us, fail to show up and charge us for cleaning they didn't do--so you get what you pay for). Mike was very reasonable and flexible in working with us to get a rate that was within our budget.

I spoke with with Mike at the the Details office about what I was looking for in a cleaning service. He emailed me a list of services the company provides, cost, and how to prepare the home for the cleaners. I scheduled a day for the cleaners to arrive. They arrived on time and finished within 2.5 hours. When I returned home, the home was spotless. Details of folding towels, blankets, organizing pillowsl etc...an extra and unexpected touch.

I have used Details Residential Services since June of 2009 I believe this tells it all. They do a fabulous job cleaning my home.

The entire process has been very seamless. I appreciate a company that can manage communication and customer satisfaction in an online world (e-mail, Facebook, Angie's List, etc). It sounds like the same treatment is found in traditional forms of communication as well (phone). We reached out to Details on February 6th via e-mail and had everything scheduled for Feb 21st by the end of the day. The expectations were always very clear. The team (3) arrived the morning of Feb 21st (as promised between 8:00-8:15) - we did a short walk through of the home and felt comfortable leaving for the day. We got a call shortly before noon that they were leaving and would lock the front door. Upon our return home we were pleasantly surprised in how great everything looked. We have a very hairy dog and it was amazing to see a home that looked pet-free! Great presentation and details! Even simple things like how our throw blankets were folded on the couch were a nice touch. Not to mention the shine we saw throughout our woodwork and entire home. We were so happy with our service that we have hired Details to come bi-weekly while our home is listed on the market! A cost that we will surely not regret!

We had a cleaning company prior to hiring Details Residential Services. Our previouscleaning company did a good job, but anytime we gave them feedback about acleaning they would get extremely defensive and tell us we were too picky. A friend of ours used Details and said theywere great to work with so we contacted them. What we really like is they are very open to feedback, and in fact askfor it after every cleaning. The owner told us we should never expect perfection, but we should expect a really goodjob, and if things are not good just let him know and he will talk to his team. We have given feedback over thelast two years and each time the issue was addressed at our next cleaning. We understand things do get missed and that it’sour job to let the company know so they can address the issues. They do a great job of cleaning our home, but what we really like is the fact that they respond to our feedback and never make excuses. We also love the fact that they can clean our windows, cut our grass and have a handyman service, its nice being able to call one company.

They arrived and were careful with their supplies and equipment Taking extreme care in all my valuable trinkets and keepsakes They were careful of our newly installed carpet when they went to their truck- They cleaned and scrubbed and my house smelled refreshed and looked better than it had in years! They were in and out it looked amazing!

We have used Details for over two years for their services of cleaning, ironing, window cleaning and yard work. We used them because the work was okay (see below) but parted ways with them because of a rude and unresponsive management. In the past two months (after being a customer for two years) I complained about two separate instances, and both times, the first reaction from the supervisor was to ignore the incident, then explain why it was my fault, then send us an angry email. Accidents happen, but their response was first frustrating then angering. The most concerning part was when I asked for the key to my house back, they tried to negotiate for it, trying to make certain terms about the time and date and who would be at the house (fyi, we did not owe money.) We were so disturbed we changed the locks. The cleaning was okay, nothing outstanding but generally efficient, and the ladies were nice (they did swear quite a bit, but in Spanish.) The window cleaning was great and worth the money. The yard work and snow removal was a complete rip-off. They will remove the snow, but it will involve bringing snow blowers to your house at 5:00 A.M. and waking up not only you but your neighbors, who will complain. The yard work was always about half done- sometimes they would miss one area, other times they wouldn't trim, and if you ask them to fix it, they will say they will get it next time, which they may or may not do.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this service! We switched from another "Grade A" Angie's lister who was not working for us at all. So we are thrilled to have someone on board who is professional and extremely responsive. Not to say that I wouldn't be grading them highly if we didn't have this other experience recently, because they stand on their own as an A. I initially called the owner to find out what the cost would be and what their availability would be to clean our house. The owner was professional and provided a great deal of detail on the work they do and their overall approach and has an understanding of customer service and the importance of communication. You can see that he is extremely responsive to comments on this website and I think it has taken him about 5 minutes maximum to call me back if I have reached out to him (during business hours). They were able to fit us into their schedule quickly and on our preferred day of the week. The employees are extremely nice and professional, and the owner followed up after the cleaning to make sure everything went well. I am looking forward to being able to work with Details Residential Services for a long time.

Details Residential Services was quick to respond to my website inquiry for move-in cleaning. I was able to get an estimate and schedule the cleaners during the first phone call. The cleaners arrived on-time, did a very thorough job of cleaning, and finished in less time that was estimated. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The entire experience was outstanding. I got a response from my phone call right away, a follow-up email with rates and guidelines, and then very prompt follow-up every step of the way. Details also provided a checklist to help us determine exactly what we did (and did not) want cleaned. This was so helpful, as I didn't know where to begin to describe the work I wanted. The cleaning crew was courteous and had been thoroughly briefed by the schedulers/office. They knew exactly what I wanted and just had me show them around the house in case there were any special instructions. I left them in our house alone, and felt very comfortable doing so. Coming home afterwards to a clean house was marvelous! Everything sparkled and shone. Really, the quality of work was outstanding. They were very thorough and I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

The Details crew arrived exactly on time. I gave them my "wish list" and left to do some errands. After the allotted time, I returned to my home, thinking they would be long gone, but this was not the case. I left again and returned in an hour - and they were still parked out front. Concerned, I called the owner, Mike, and he contacted the crew. He immediately called me back and explained that there were some "mishaps" while the crew did their deep cleaning (which I didn't expect; but as a new customer, the first cleaning is deep). A mirror which was behind a door had fallen, along with my ceiling fan in the kitchen! When I finally returned home, I was met by the crew and their project manager. I was relieved that the damage was minor - the mirror was very inexpensive and had been in the house since I moved in (and had been installed with a single nail in plaster - it's a miracle it stayed up as long as it had). The ceiling fan had come loose from a cracked bracket holding it to the ceiling and the fan was actually still hanging, but from its electrical wires. Mike had said that he and his crew are responsible for the damages and sought to immediately correct them, which included paying for a new mirror and having Mike's handiman come to repair the ceiling fan. We arranged for a time for his handiman, Ian, to come to repair the fan. (I opted to not worry about the mirror, since it was rarely used.) Ian, a very personable young man, arrived at the appointed time and determined that the fan's bracket fatigued due to age. He attempted to fix it with parts he had with him, but these methods did not work. He left briefly to purchase the correct part at the nearby hardware store. Once he returned, the part was quickly replaced, the ceiling fan was back where it belonged and I was left whole and happy. Mike followed up with an email later that day and I expressed my pleasure with the service and follow up of he and his staff. One comment regarding the cleaning crew - I am STILL finding pristine places that they worked on, that I would never have imagined being cleaned by myself. I am continually pleased by their work! Attention to detail is one of their strongest suits. You can call me one satisfied customer. Thank you Mike, Ian and crew!

This is the third time I've used Details and I will most definitely use them again. Mike is always extremely available via email or phone to answer my questions and help me make a timely appointment. The cleaning crews are always very professional and punctual and unlike some cleaning crews I've used in the past, they put stuff back where they found it. Lots of respect for our home.

The team arrived on time, worked diligently, finished on time, and did a great job. The price was very reasonable. All good.

The owner of this company could not be more kind or generous. I had a friend unfortunately tragically lose their two year old son. At the time the mother was expecting her third child. I sought out Details Residential Services to take on a cleaning rotation in their home. The owner of this company courageously volunteered his company's services at no cost for 6 months! As you can well imagine this was at a great cost to him and his team while being a tremendous reprieve to this family. He was convincingly overjoyed to be able to lend a helping hand to the family he didn't even know. He continued his free service for months after the date he submitted initially and agreed to continue service at whatever was affordable to this family. I realize this is an isolated story, but this is a clear reflection of the value this company puts on the comfort of their customers. I heard that the owner extended this same service to another family with a similar story. This is remarkable to me in a day and age where the dollar seems to hold primary place. You would not be mistaken putting the care of your home in the hands of this business.

I was on vacation and set up the Deep Clean over the weekend while I was away. I came home to the most delightful sight. I have four children 5 years old and under. There was no obvious fingerprint anywhere!! My floors were mopped perfectly. My master shower (in dire need of a remodel) was cleaned to sparkling. They took the time to arrange the shampoo, conditioner, etc in a pleasant fashion! It's truly in the Details! I would not hesitate to utilize this company again.

Thorough and efficient cleaning consistently!

1) Underequipped: Using only a basic detergent for cleaning all surfaces isn't my idea of being prepared. 2) I was billed for 10 hours less a small discount. My previous experiences w/other cleaning services: just as good and for about 40% less. 3) Live and learn (and pay for it)

Overall i have continued to use this company because they communicate and make sure at the end of the day, i'm satisfied I've had issues, i've had cleanings that may not have been up to their normal standards, but Michael always makes sure the issue is resolved to keep the client happy. Thats what i expect from a service provider. I understand mistakes can be made and things missed, but how do they handle those times and Michael handles these with all the professionalism one could ask. Everybody makes a mistake, but not everybody handles them as well as Michael.He even 1 time, sent people back the same day to fix what they missed.Its for that reason, i have a long term relationship with Detail.

Mike and his company, Details Residential Services, is phenomenal. They have been cleaning our house for the last year and we have been very happy. Cleaners are punctual and professional. You can make it clear what services you want and not want and have cleaning weekly, bimonthly, or monthly. We have even used them for our rental house to have a deep clean performed before tenants move in. We interviewed three different cleaners and Details was competitive, though not the cheapest or the most expensive. I feel we get a high value for the amount we pay.

no need to describe that cleaning..but to say it was NOT done well. When I called the owner, they seem to give every excuse under the sun and take the money. Different people showed up each time and did the cleaning so fast within 2 hrs. Pathertic service all around.

This service works out great for me. In 2.5 hours, my house is clean & I'm free to catch up on other chores. Very good value for the money!
