He was honest and upfront and provided us with great information and advice about how to proceed with our project to get the results we were looking for!!! we e purchased hard wired Ring security system online and he advised us to purchase Ring 2 with battery or Ring camwra with solar battery. He offered further assistance any time needed. great guy! if we have any projects we would definitely go with him.

Rob did the job for $660. Before calling Rob, I called the company that quoted a price of $1200 for starters. Rob did it for $660. He knew what he was doing and did it quickly. He arrived promptly, and went above and beyond the call of duty with respect to some of the repairs. I asked about various ways of doing it, and he gently explained how he could do it, but it might damage the house. I am very grateful.

Rob is great. He knows what he's doing, and better, he knows how to help those who don't know what they're doing (me). He brought my 1990's tech house up to date in about a week. I initially contacted him to hang a TV but when I started asking questions and he had answers, things got done. Rob didn't try to up-sell anything, he happily explained options and he just as happily completed the work to answer those questions. I was having a lot of work done on my house during the time Rob worked seamlessly with them as well. He's friendly, efficient, and likes working. I can't say enough good things about the work he did, and about Rob himself.

Rob and Ben were wonderful. Listened to my requests and concerns for an installation without cutting into walls or ceilings unless really necessary. They explained carefully and completely how they would proceed to determine if the connections could be added to all the rooms I desired and with little or no extra holes in the rooms. They were able to successfully install all 5 connections with only one additional connection plate in one room where it was needed. They thoroughly tested each connection. Then when all passed their testing, they had me test to my satisfaction. All connections worked completely and very well. They even helped me get Netflix working on my smart TV since it now has its own ethernet connection. I am so pleased with their professionalism in listening to my needs and concerns, explaining well so I could understand what they would do and doing it all very well and cleaned up completely after they were done. I would recommend them with the highest ratings on this list. I am sure they would be as professional and do the job well in any of the services listed on their web site.

Rob at Custom Low Voltage did an exception job of wiring our house with Cat6a Ethernet cable. The job included running Ethernet cable from our basement to 12 jacks spread across our main floor and upstairs. One of the biggest challenges he had to overcome was that our internet provider’s cable enters in a corner of our basement, and he had to figure how to get the cable to each of the bedrooms in our upstairs. Rob spent a significant amount of time identifying options and was very respectfully of my requests that I didn’t want any sheet rock cut out and that work could not disrupt the existing internet connection until cut over given my wife works from home. Throughout the process he was very open about the challenges of the work, coming up with solutions to overcome them, and making sure that I was satisfied with the work. Furthermore, he committed to a fixed price for the work and held to his word even though the job took longer than anticipated. To complete the job he ran a single Ethernet cable from our basement to upstairs then ran individual cables to each of the room through the use of a switch. It turned out very nice and professional looking. The purpose of running Cat6a cable throughout the house was to our allow family to “cut the cord” from cable and begin streaming television in all rooms. It’s been ~2 months since we switched over and I couldn’t be happier. It’s an upfront investment, but after a year we’ll have broken even based on the saving from switching over. Plus, we’re able to hard wire video game systems, work computers, and laptops so everything gets a faster connection. My wife, who was working from home at the time, also mentioned how impressed she was with their work ethic and manners. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d highly recommend Rob and his team. They were very professional, prompt and ensured that my requests were respected.

He was very knowledgeable as he has worked for Comcast previously, so he knew more than anyone else I have worked with. Very professional and did an excellent job! I am very happy about my new setup and would definitely hire Robert again and I will definitely refer him to my friends!

Rob was extremely responsive. He got back to me right away after my initial inquiry via Angie's List. He accommodated my needs for an appointment and his communication about exactly when he would arrive was great. He was very courteous and professional. He went through my home to determine what was needed and his estimate for the work was extremely fair. I'm confident that I saved hundreds of dollars vs what Comcast would have charged. I got all of my new electronics up and running exactly as I had envisioned. He totally revamped how my cable router was set up and now my Internet speed and reliability are greatly improved. Rob even left some additional materials in case I needed some extra connectors. The only thing I regret is not using him to install the wall mounts for my TVs! Next time, I won't have to go to the Geek Squad! I give Custom Low Voltage my highest recommendation.

I phoned Robert Friday evening and he scheduled an appointment with me for Sunday morning. In the bitter cold he arrived and set up the TV, tweaked a couple of other things, and cleaned up whatever debris he had created. The work was done well and the cost was reasonable.

He was very thorough about pathing and securing the cables and even little things like being sure to clean up even though we didn't have a vacuum or broom in our new house yet. Robert was super nice, professional and very hard working. He got my job done when we were tight on time and even came in the evening to make the timing work. I would 100% hire him to do this kind of work again and expect we will have him back to install home theater for us at some point. He really knew his stuff.

Rob was on time and very knowledgeable about his job. He took his time to go through what he would be doing and explained everything very clearly. He connected a very complicated whole house surround sound system using speaker selectors. The sound is amazing thanks to his work.

Rob was very professional and the tv mount installation came out perfect. I initially had concerns with mounting over the fireplace. He explained the process and we ultimately decided installing the electrical kit to re-route the electrical was best. It was a great decision from an aesthetic stand point but also added value when I sell my home as the new owners will not have the same concerns. Rob was indeed a pleasure to work with and I am extremely happy with the end result.
