Description of Work: They came out and repaired my furnace. Things went really well. My only complaint would be the "premium" they charge to service Oil furnaces.

Description of Work: We were told by our utilities provider that we had to replace the backflow preventer on our boiler, however, Summit thought they might be able to save us money by fabricating a part instead. Unfortunately, the fabricated part had a slight leak, so we still had to go with option A (replace). Even though we had to pay for the fabricated part (despite it not working), they were still very reasonable in their pricing, responsive, and courteous. I would, and already have, recommended them to others. We will be using them to update pipes/water supply lines for a bathroom renovation as well this spring!

Description of Work: Furnace made "popping" noise when running. Installed a part on top which was to bleed the air out which was possibly causing the noise. It was not successful. I was told that it was not a dangerous situation and since the boiler is providing heat, I chose not to spend more at this time. |

Description of Work: Summit installed an entire new boiler system in my home where we were starting from scratch. We went with a standard 84% eff. Centry boiler and ran pex. They we very economical and gave me pricing options for standard and high efficient systems and were also honest when weighing the pros and cons of each. They respond to service calls within 24 hrs and were very responsive by phone or email. A young team of workers that worked hard and got the job done well. The contractor even gave me suggestions on other home projects, bonus! I am very satisfied with Summit's work and would definitely have them again.

Description of Work: They replaced a trap in the basement. They had to beak up a small part of the basement floor. Everything they did was neat and well done. Very respectful of my home. Timely, hard working, clean, I am very pleased with the work done. I haven't had any water in the basement this year!

Description of Work: We had a Geothermal Heat System installed by Summit Mechanical. We were very impressed with the professionalism on the entire project. The sales representative was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He provided documentation & wide range of references which were marvelous for hands on experienced information. The entire project started promptly and was completed on time. What a highly tuned team of engineers and installation experts. Summit followed through with everything promised and even removed our old fuel oil tank. We highly recommend this company to anyone needing heating or cooling projects done. The new geothermal heat system is extremely energy efficient and we love it.
