 + -1 moreWhile I do most of the repair work around our house, I do not do electricity. Therefore, when a baseboard heater stopped working and a light switch needed replacing, I turned to Angie's List for electricians. I called Qwic, spoke with John immediately and we scheduled a time. He showed up on time (despite some difficulty finding our house out in the country) and the work was done within an hour. What I appreciated most was he took the time to examine (and explain!) issues with our circuit box and the challenges of upgrading to a larger system. He and his assistant were professional, relaxed and efficient. I have no complaints whatsoever.

 + -1 moreJohn located the problem and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. We had a wire break in an electrical box in our bedroom ceiling. John offerred to spend the next 45 minutes (since his initial service call charge includes up to 1 hour of service) helping me finish installing a ceiling fan and fix a couple of other minor electrical issues. We would hire John again.

 + -1 moreEverything was taken care of in about an hour. They took 3 days to get to us but told us up front that it would be 3 days before they could get to us, so I guess that was fine. If we had been in a hurry we could have called someone else. They took time to explain everything to my husband, but were nearly done when I got home.
Description of Work: We had a problem with 2 lines coming into assorted outlets and breakers tripping. Turns out that tabs outlets had never been removed and they figured out what the problem was and fixed everyting that was wrong.
