Adjustment required about five minutes on 12/30/16, charge was $55.00, but a 2nd adjustment was required on 01/12/2017 and there was no charge. .

They were prompt. They were personable. They were extremely personal and professional. One day I called them and said I was seeing sun shining through the door and was concerned about the winter time. They came right out and checked everything. And they did not even charge me!

The Garage doors were about 30 years old, and had never operated properly. I thought they would have to be replaced. I called Overhead door of Duluth and explained the problem. 30 minutes later the technician pulled into our driveway. About an hour after that He was done. He adjusted the doors so that they operated properly. He moved several hinges that had been improperly installed.He was very helpful, explained all that He was doing, and was very professional in his approach to the problem. The cost for this service was much less than I had anticipated. Now I have garage doors that work like they should.

I called Overhead Door bcause my garage door had stopped working. They told me I needed a new motor. They replaced the motor the next day and gave me a complimentary key pad because the technician had accidently removed my existing key pad not knowing that I wanted to keep it. Two days later the key pad broke and Overhead Door came out and replaced the key pad at absolutely no cost. They have been prompt, punctual and extremely courteous on the phone.

We called Overhead Door Company to repair our garage door after it was backed into by a vehicle exiting the garage door. The appointment was set up and the guy showed up late. First, without examining the garage door with any thouroughness, determined that we had to buy a whole new garage door. Just like that. The repairman became very pushy that I immediately provide him a deposit of $1000 for the proposed $1500 garage door. I declined and the repair became very pushy and I became very uncomfortable. The repairman restated that I 'had' to replace the door and I 'had' to leave a deposit today, because, and I quote "you want your garage door fixed, right?"I asked the repair man what he could do to just make the door functional. He proceeded to do some minor repairs with some additional parts; a lock and a brace for the bracket at the upper part of thedoor where it attached to the garage door opener's arm. So at least we were functional for the price of $84. Aso during the whole interaction the repair man loudly passed gas and didn't even bother to excuse himself. So I called another garage door company and they quoted me a new garage door installed for around $1100. But when they came out to measure they asked why I was buying a new garage door. I explained the story of the repair and estimate from Overhead Door of Duluth. The new guy shook his head, took some notes, ran a calculator and said he'd be able repair my garage door for $150 to $200 depending on the price of my struts and maybe some extra time to straighten my lowerr panel. Anyway it was all repaired the next day for $180 by a much more honest and trustworthy company. I did register a complaint to the management of Overhead Door of Duluth and they were very apologetic. However, it was just words which are easy and cost nothing. The bill was not changed, there was no note of apology from management that their repairman tried, in my opinion, to con me out of services and work I did not need. My opinion of Overhead Door Company of Duluth is about as low as you can get and I have talked to as many people as I can to encourage everyone to find another source for any garage door needs.
