Jim Lenard upgraded our electric, and hooked up our new septic and well pumps. Very professional, responsive service. We would highly recommend Lenard Electric.

I asked for a quote leaving message on voice mail.They never returned phone call. I called again and finally I got a response. Jim quoted me a price over the phone. Then he came out and looked at the job. He then sent me a quote which was $700.00 dollars more then what I had it done for. Make sure you get more then just a quote from these shysters.

Response from Lenard Electric
Mr. [Member name] called and asked me to pull a permit and sign off on a project that he had done by an out of state unlicensed individual. The city of Duluth and State of Minnesota requires that only licensed electrical contractors engage in electrical contracting business activities. He told me and the local inspector exactly the same thing. Upon being contacted by the state of Minnesota enforcement office, he changed the story and said he did the work himself. It is interesting to me that Mr. [Member name]would go on a public forum and make such a statement when he is well aware of the truth. My quote was to completely do the project over and to bill him what it would cost to do the job from start to finish. I feel that only making repairs to work that was done illegally and improperly, rewards the behavior of hiring unlicensed individuals. It is also important to note, that we never did any work for Mr. [Member name].
