I would never go with this guy again, I have so many complaints about him I do not even know where to start. Well I guess it started with with him showing us a house that he was renting. Anyways during the signing of the lease, he agreed to install some more outlets in the living room, have the basement clean, and make sure that we had curtains for the dining room windows, which were facing the street and rather large. None of these promises were ever fulfilled. We mailed him the rent on time every month, and it came to our attention that we had a gaping hole in the roof. (Rainwater soaked 3 of the 5 bedroom floors every time it rained) and we immediatley informed him of this problem, and he would promise to fix it ASAP. Well winter came along, and this hole in our roof never was fixed, our utility rates skyrocketed and he still would promise it would get fixed. It took him a 6 months(HALF A YEAR!!) to do anything about this, despite weekly reminders from myself and my roomates. Now, a couple years later, I have been trying to get into a nice apartment with my wife, and this new Landlord requires landlord references from past landlords for the past 5 years. I have been able to get my last Landlord to fill this form out promptly, but I have called Kurt 8 times, and left him multiple voice mails that I need this reference faxed ASAP. Every time I have talked to him, he assures me this will get done ASAP but it still has not been faxed even after I type this, and anyways, I was recently informed that the APT I want is gonna be leased to another couple, because my potential Landlord cannot wait around for a reference when he has another couple who has only had 1 landlord in the past 5 years and their landlord faxed the reference the same day!! Now we have to start looking for a new place to rent before June, and still have to track down that reference just in case in takes weeks to get it again in the future. My final review would just stay away from this guy, I would not go out of my way to warn people about him if it didn't cause me a lot of heart ache. This is by far, the worst experience I have every had, or even heard of when it comes to landlords just not giving a s***.(excuse my language, it is just EXTREMELY frustrating)
