Excellent Job Cheap and fast

Good. Quick and professional. Also adjusted second door that was continuously reversing direction when trying to close.

The installation went pretty well but had to call them back to re-adjust 2 of the door openers. One would close then open again on its own, and the other only closed part way. They came out within a couple of hours of me call to fix the issues. They have been working well since (7 months).

They arrived within an hour of my call. Rather than just re-attach the trolley as it was installed, he fixed the angle of it so that the door would open more smoothly, thereby reducing the odds that it would come loose again. He also attached the frame in the center (which should have been done during installation), and greased up the door in prep for winter. Very professional, friendly and competent. The price was very reasonable too! I would definitely use this company again, and highly recommend to friends.

My garage door broke. I called three names on Angie's List. I chose this one because they were very punctual and available at the time. I also liked the fact they preferred to look at the problem first before they gave a free estimate.

The work was done very well and we are very happy with the finished product, exactly what was promised and what we needed. We would be more than happy to go with them again.

We received a very professional and thorough estimate within days and hired Great Lakes to replace our door. Work was completed on time and we are very pleased with the end product; so pleased, in fact, that we've hired Great Lakes to replace an overhead door on a separate building. They were very responsive. I called on a Thursday and they showed up the following Tuesday to complete the job. Very nice and neat wiring. Doors work great and I was very pleased with their work.

Took them approximately six hours to do the job. Cleaned work mess and removed old door. Made sure new door was working properly. Came to work site about one hour later than expected but this was not a problem for me.

They were great. The price was reasonable. I am very happy with them. They had excellent service. The repair was great. The door is still working. They are reliable and reasonable. I would definitely call them to do my work.

I called numerous garage door opener companies in Duluth and compared prices for removing an old broken garage door opener and replacing with a new one. Many places will sell you one of their garage door openers but I already had one I bought on sale and wanted to use. I found this Great Lakes Door company, Jeff, and he was very helpful walking me through my options after trouble-shooting to what could be wrong. He gave me all my options for repair, to replacing with an opener he had, to providing my own that he would install. I like that he was easy going and not pushy. Jeff showed up and in a little over an hour he had removed my old opener and installed my new one complete with electronic eye. I had a 1/2 HP Chamberlain Cain driven installed. I will use again if ever need be and would recommend to others.
