 + 0 moreVery hard to get a response via emails or phone. Installed most of the kitchen after four months of prodding. Excellent job. A small countertop was , first, the incorrect piece and the wrong size. The second attempt was completed in September, some 12 months after my initial contact with him. It is finally completed, and although I was willing to be somewhat patient, I think that is an unacceptable amount of time.

 + -1 moreInstall went very smoothly and Granite Works involvement was excellent.
Description of Work: We contracted with ML Haugen Co, Superior WI, to coordinate the removal of our old kitchen countertop and sink and install of new granite with stainless steel sink. Granite Works did the actual install of the countertop with Haugen doing the other actions. Granite Works was very helpful in showing us the stone available, providing samples, allowing us to select the footprint for the island granite (so we could have the veining desired), etc. Two ee's arrived on schedule to do the install and the owner, Paul, came out shortly thereafter to determine the progress and even did some of the "finer" cuts around the cooktop himself. Fortunately Haugen coordinated putting up vinyl sheets from floor to ceiling to cut down on the granite dust (which is a necessity!).
