Duluth Dirt

Duluth Dirt was responsive, easy to work with and did a great job for a fair price. They removed several inches of dirt, laid and packed down the recycled blacktop. It's working great and I'd use them again.

It went well. The dump truck missed the very large tarp.

I called and set up a time for the delivery. The arrived on time with the right material, put it where I wanted it and I gave them check. Fast, simple and professional.

The story starts with Rick's tree service who came to remove some trees after the storm. Once they were done I called Duluth Dirt to get dirt to fill in an area about 100 feet plus by 6 feet wide with varying depths. The section that i was filling was larger that where the trees that came down. It went great. I was able to fill in the area and leveled it off. The area was made so that I could re plant shrubs and flowers. Also so I could level off part of the area so that I could make some fenced shrubs cages are bigger since they were starting to grow in to there current fences. I just finished laying bark on the area to help prevent weeds and such from into the fresh laid dirt.I have used them in the past just recently and will use again in the future when project get ready to do.

being that this was right after the storm in duluth. and the they were able to deliver the very next day was exceptional.

It was really easy which was what I liked. I put in an order and they brought a truck load of dirt. They delivered it right where I said I needed it. I told them I wanted it on a particular spot in the yard and that's where it was. It was all over the phone. I don't remember how much it cost but I remember it was totally reasonable. Their responsiveness was good.

They delivered the same day. We didn't have to be home and could just leave the cheque outside. They were quick. It was surprising because I called them first and the delivery charge sounded more but when I called other places they were charging more and were saying that they couldn't do it until the end of the week. They delivered quickly and had the flexibility of how to do the payments.

They gave me an estimate and they stuck with it. They came out for the estimate the day I called them and they came to do the work the next day. I already have an order in with them for the spring for garden dirt.
