Description of Work: Repaired the ice-maker, we live apox 35 miles away and the service man had to come twice, the ice-maker needed parts that Mike the service man did not have.

Description of Work: Diagnosed washing machine. Was not fixable for a reasonable price. Gave details for cost of parts and labor. Decided to buy a new washer.

Description of Work: Repaired oven. Had to replace relay in clock.

Description of Work: Three of my gas burners would not light on the stove. The tech found that tiny holes were plugged, cleaned them, showed me how to clean them in the future, and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving.

Description of Work: I was having problems with my washing machine going out of balance. After looking at machine, he stated that this was a common problem with this machine in cold environments. He was Very knowledgable and went above and beyond, calling the company the next day to see if there was any other tricks I could try to get it to stay in balance. The only down side is that my washer remains out of balance despite the tricks he recommended. Not a reflection on his service but at least now I know what is going on. The price was excellent considering he spent over an hour here.

Description of Work: The serviceman came out promptly, and found I needed a new control panel for my oven. He gave me the estimate of the part, which was very accurate. He said I could call Daughtery to let them know if I wanted them to order the part,since it is over $300. and they could check if the oven might still be under warranty. When I called to say I wanted to order the part, she asked if didn't want to buy a new oven, because the part is so expensive. Since the oven isn't that old I wanted it repaired. Unfortunately the warranty was only for 5 years, and the oven was 8 years old. When the repairman came out to install the panel, once again he was very personable and professional. Before he left he had me try all of the buttons to make sure everything worked. The total cost was within a few dollars of the actual cost.

Description of Work: Our washer developed a broken water hose, resulting with water all over the floor. What a mess! After moving the washer, we found mildew and 11 years' worth of dust and dirt! We talked with Daugherty's over the phone and were given expansive information and empathy. We went to Daugherty's and were treated with expedience, great information. Information was unbiased; they did not try to sell us an expensive washer when we only needed basic functions..and they re-worked their schedule so that we had delivery the very next day.
