The service was good. They fixed the problem. We had a home warranty, and Carlson Brothers Mechanical Contracting was the plumbing company that they contacted. He was timely and gave us an accurate quote.

The work they did went real smooth. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The plumbers came when they said they would. We were at work while they were at the house. We were surprised and disappointed to receive their invoice to assess our problem - NINE MAN HOURS billed! We then received an estimate for them to come back to do the actual work, however, they said there would be no guarantee it would solve the problem.

Called Carlson Bros. to schedule an appointment after reading the reviews on Angie's List. The person answering the phone was accommodating and answered all my questions. The plumber called prior to arrival. He fixed both the sink and the toilet. He did not try to confuse me, he showed me what was causing the problem, did not try and tell me I needed more work done than what was necessary which other plumbers have done in the past, and the cost was less than expected given my previous experience with other plumbers. For example, another plumber came to fix a leaky faucet and told me I needed a new facet and pipes that I found out later, did not need replacing which led to higher than expected costs.

They are very good with their bidding and it is a real good company to deal with. They had a high level of service, were very responsive with phone calls and the owner was good to deal with. The staff was friendly and I will use them again in the future.

Our pipes burst on Sunday morning. We called Carlson and left a voice message. I got a call back no more than 10 minutes later. They explained where to locate our water shutoff and what to do in the time in took them to arrive. They showed up on time and quickly began work on replacing the burst pipe. The pipe was replaced quickly (about two hours from start to finish). When it came time to settle up I was surprised to hear that they charged double-time on Sundays. I understand and respect why they do that, but I wish that it had be explained to me before they started service. I definitely could have gone one night without running water. If this service had been performed on any other day the price would have been VERY fair. I will definitely use Carlson for future plumbing needs.

They worked quickly and efficiently, and I was pleasantly surprised at how small the bill was, given the amount of time they spent. They answered questions with a friendly attitude and came out again to follow up after the install to make sure things were running as they were supposed to.

The plumber showed up in the morning, on time, took his shoes off, and took perhaps an hour to finish the job. When we asked how much we owed him, he said we would receive a bill. I waited with baited breath for the bill to arrive, hoping it would not be outrageous. I was pleasantly surprised: it came to a grand total of $108.78. Quite fair and reasonable, I thought. Of that total, labor was $89, trip charge $9.95, and materials $9.83.
