+ -1 moreI would rate it 4 out of 5. The owners name is Tom Kubera. I thought they did good quality work. I get a lot of compliments on it. I am having some concerns on how one aspect of it is going to last with the skidded stone walkways. The retaining wall in particular is made up of real large taconite stones and people love it. We are look at using them to a church that I go to on providing a design. I think they provide nice looking designs. They are also open in using native plants, trees and shrubs to be more environmental friendly. Mainly, as with many providers they weren't as fast as I would have hoped at times but they weren't as bad.
Description of Work: Amity Creek Landscaping installed stone steps and a stone walkway including skidded stones and then slate pieces. They also installed a large retaining wall.

Description of Work: Amity Creek Landscaping did a terrific job cleaning and pruning our overgrown gardens and shrubs. We received 3 quotes from local companies. Amity was the highest by $200.00, but that estimate included mulching. Next time, I would purchase and do that service myself to cut costs. The team of 4 showed up at 8am, and worked diligently until 1pm. 3 hours less time than quoted! The staff was knowledgable, friendly, and hard workers. They cleaned everything up, kept the yard's natural look, and called the next day to make sure that we were happy with our service.

+ -1 moreOverall a good experience. Very friendly, thoughtful and practical. Our interests were also in cost containment and simplicity. By way of comparison Amity seemed more in touch with reality in terms of our wants/needs.
Description of Work: Grade residential lot following new construction. Place topsoil. Place landscaping including rock and landscaping cloth. Lay sod.
