Top Line Fence installed a fantastic fence in our yard! They took down the old wire fence and installed the new privacy fence on the same day. I appreciated the metal posts, as I believe they will last longer. Overall very happy with this service!

Was told that they would not warranty a green treated fence so we went with cedar. Good communication when it was being installed and looked very nice. Later I found out they will not warranty their work. We had some warped and split boards and a bunch that were only nailed at the top, sent emails, no response. Paid $11,500 for a fence without a warranty.

Project went completely as planned and the fence looks great. I was tearing out an old fence and matching my neighbor's side fence on the other two sides and the final product is a very good match. Easy process and very happy with the end result.

Things were great (fence looks great, completed mostly on time, reasonably priced) until we went to turn on our sprinkler system and found that they had cut through one of the lines when placing the posts so it is now covered in cement and not functional. When we called Dan to let him know, he said it was not his responsibility. We had told them when they came to dig that we had a sprinkler system and they said no problem. They didn't say to mark it. It is NOT in the contract that they are not liable. Very disappointing customer service by the owner of the company in not taking responsibility for damage caused by your crew.

The old fence came down quickly and the new fence with the steel posts went in quickly. The fencers paid attention to detail and ensured that we had a quality fence. It was all done in one day and we are very happy with the results.

I initially contacted Top Line Fence before we closed on our new home in November. We needed to schedule the fence installation for soon after closing because of our dogs. Dan responded right away and met me out at the house so I could show him where we wanted the fence. He was friendly, professional, and on time throughout the whole process. After closing, our fence was completed well before the deadline I gave them. I had a phenomenal experience with Top Line Fence and would recommend them to anyone looking to have any fence work done.

With the purchase of a new house, came a fence that was falling over and needing replacement before the next winter totally took it out. We ended up getting bids from 5 different companies, each providing a spin on why their approach was the best and better than the rest. Dan with Top Line Fence, however, kept things very straight forward. He explained the options to us, the benefits of different elements, such as why the value of metal posts may be worthwhile for longevity and integrity, and kept it clear what elements were "nice-to have" versus "recommended". He was easy to speak with and was prompt to reply to my phone calls. The fact that owner is involved, provides the estimates, and answers the phone let me know that I was working with a true local business, and one where if there were issues I could reach someone who would listen and understand my concerns. The best part - Dan's estimate was the best of all that we got! When his team showed to build the fence, they were right on time, courteous, and clear on what they were going to do. All went accordingly and they answered any questions I had, and checked with me when they weren't 100% certain on what we were looking for versus just making a best guess, which I appreciated. The end result was a beautiful, and stable fence! The neighbors also love it, so we've got an unbiased opinion as well. When there was some minimal warping with the gate, Dan came out to take a look, and took care of it himself. I will definitely be working with Top Line Fence again in the future.

We installed a privacy fence and due to the fact we have fences on both sides a zero maintenance vinyl fence was installed which looks great. Our only issue was a post was scratched during the installation process which may be unavoidable. The prices was fair for the work and done very professionally. We would recommend Top Line Fence highly!

Dan and his crew did a fabulous job--from responding quickly to the first request for an estimate to providing advice on the type of fencing most appropriate for our purposes, to installing the new fence. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anybody interested in high-quality and reliable work at an excellent price. The work included tear-down of an old fence. Dan built a new tall cedar privacy fence along one side of the property and in the back with a cedar, a separate tall cedar lattice structure for vines elsewhere on the property, and an wrought iron fence with gate on the other side of the house for a fully enclosed backyard. Special attention was paid to putting the posts in cement and forming a nicely rounded surface. All work came out perfectly straight and plumb. The crew took pride in their work, cleaned up perfectly, and communicated well. Whole building process was done in one week. One year later, the work still looks perfect. It's a pleasure to work with Dan.

This company has great pricing and is very responsive. The crew got our cedar fence (looks wonderful!) installed in two days which also included the tear down of our old, rotting fence and pergola. Very prompt and very knowledgeable. They took a lot of care to note damage my gardens during the installation as well.

It went very well. It was quick, beautiful installation, and reasonable. Dan and his crew were very courteous. Our neighbors said, "If we'd have known how good it would look, we would have paid for it a long time ago." They haven't sent any money yet. Trust Dan, but not my neighbors.

Dan came out within 5 days from first contact and provided an initial bid, he walked through my needs and issues with the current fence and gave some good recommendations on the project approach and repairs. There were 2 other bids on this project and Dan was not only competitive in his pricing he was significantly lower than one of the bids (they stated their schedule and how small the work was attributed to the inflated cost but they bid on the EXACT SAME scope and material). Topline was able to come out within 2 weeks of the initial bid as they accommodated the work in between larger projects (thank you Dan!). The work was wonderfully performed. The new gates are great and the extension was seamless! Thanks for the great work and such an immediate response!

When I called Dan to get an estimate, he was able to come the same day. He pointed out some construction flaws in the old fence and explained how Top Line would build a better fence. The job was done in two separate days about a week apart. The new fence looks great !

Sections of our chain link fence and 2 gates needed to be repaired. Due to settling 2 areas of our fence were leaning and 2 gates wouldn't close because the fence had shifted. We got 3 quotes for repairs. The first 2 companies both said they needed to replace the sections of top rail and posts, along with the gates, which was expensive. Dan said the fence could be adjusted without replacing everything. The project was done soon after he came out to look at it. Dan and his crew got the job done quickly. A few things were fixed, replaced and the rest was adjusted so that it is straight and the gates latch again. We really appreciate Dan fixing the problems without adding on unnecessary costs and replacing things that didn't need to be replaced. We are very happy with the work and would use Top Line Fence again.

All went smoothly, from my initial call to completion. The quote was very competitive, the work was done promptly, and the result was actually better than what I had expected considering the age and condition of the original fence.

Communication was very difficult. Would often wait 3+ days for a response. No office person that you can talk to, only leave a message. Asked for advance notice when they would come out so that I could warn the neighbors (they both have dogs) and so I could be there to oversee the work. There was some question what would be the best method to anchor these warping lattice type pieces of wood. Waited a long time for person to get back to me on whether a staple-gun might work or not. Company lost my name and number at one point. Then I got a call and was told workers were coming out that same day. I couldn't leave work to go home. Work was completed in half a day and is satisfactory. Got an invoice with just the price. Asked for a detail of man hours, materials costs, warranty, etc on invoice. Never got back to me. Decided to pay the bill and forget dealing with the company any more. Is the work guaranteed? How long? How long were they on site? Did I get 1,100 dollars worth of service? These are still questions I have.

The repair is great. The employees were courteous, quick, and very good. Dan came by to make sure the job was done correctly. I plan on putting in anew fence, and Top Line will the only company I call.

Top Line helped us select a cedar picket fence style that I and my wife liked. Top Line provided a free, accurate estimate. It took awhile for Top Line to get to our job, but this was expected and clear to us given the time of year. Top Line did a great job installing the fence in our small south Minneapolis yard. I would have expected to pay more for the quality of the fence - Top Line gave us a lot of value for the dollar and I highly recommend them.
