ROB TAYLOR FIREWOOD

Went great. Made deal. Set time. He arrived on time and stacked wood where I asked. And the wood was dry as he had promised. What more could one ask for? Nothing!!

After giving up on craigslist I turned to Angie's list for a referral and found Rob Taylor. Rob was not going to be able to deliver until the weekend after Thanksgiving. When I mentioned I was hoping to have wood for thanksgiving, rob offered to drop off a partial load on Tuesday! I would not typically expect that, but it was great that he was able to make it work. He followed through and delivered the remainder of our wood on Sunday. I am very pleased with the service and the product!

I've used Rob a few times now and he's great. Good dry wood, nicely cut, stacked neatly for me. Easy to work with, shows up when he says he will. Gets the wood to me fairly quickly after I call. (within a week) Sometimes he comes himself or sometimes some other guys, but all have been very nice and professional. He is definitely a great source for firewood!

/I called Rob on Thursday afternoon and he answered. He said he was able to deliver a partial cord the same day. I agreed. He was on time and because I found him on Angie's List. I went ahead and paid for a full cord. He delivered the rest as promised the following Monday. It looked to be over a cord. And the wood was dried and burned well. A pleasant experience. No issues. I would recommend this vendor.

This is the first time we've worked with Rob, and we found him to be exceptionally professionally, prompt and kind. We had a family emergency and were unable to be at the house on the date we had scheduled to meet him. He offered to go ahead with the scheduled date as planned, and he provided flexibility (and mutual trust) with how we'd get our payment to him, etc. Not only did Rob do as he promised, he left a thoughtful note confirming the arrangement and wishing us well as we dealt with our family emergency. In every telephone conversation with Rob, he was responsive, considerate, flexible, and eager to provide the best customer service possible. We enjoyed working with Rob immensely, and we encourage others to purchase firewood from Rob.

He was right on time (early in fact) and stacked the wood right where I asked, even though it was a distance from his truck and down a hill. The wood is cut in nice, uniform pieces and he stacked it neatly. I haven't even burned any yet, and this experience was a vast improvement over my last firewood supplier. I will use him again.

Very responsive and easy to talk to, I got all my questions a Very quick to respond and good communicator. It went super smooth. The wood was delivered and stacked right where I wanted it. The wood was dry and burned great, will order from Rob again. I had a great experienced and enjoyed the product.

Their service was very good. Very responsive and on time. The only thing I was disappointed in was the product. A majority of the wood is wet. It appears dry and nice, but once I started making fires with it I found out how wet it actually was.

I spoke with Rob and decided to go with a fireplace/face cord plus a quarter more of firewood. He asked if I was looking for delivery to be prior to the holiday. I said I was and he said he would try to fit me in. They were able to stop by this morning with the wood which was 6 days from when I spoke with Rob. I am very pleased with the quality of the wood. The size of the wood is very uniform which is not normally what I have received from other providers. So to say the least I am extremely pleased with Rob and his service. Cody and the other guy who preformed the delivery were on time and very nice to deal with. Rob's service will be the only service for my wood I will use going forward. I will recommend to all my friends and co-workers. Don't hesitate and give Rob a call and start burning during our frigid winters!

Rob's crew showed up on time, worked quickly and straight stacked our wood in our wood rack for us. The did a nice job and the wood is very dry, burns nicely, a mix of oak, birch and maple.

It's our second year ordering a full cord (not a fireplace cord!) from Rob and Deb and the wood they brought this year is even better than it was last year. They're great! The wood is cut within a quarter inch of the required length and really well seasoned. We'll order again, definitely.

The wood was well seasoned and as described, A full face cord was delivered and logs were correct length. No hassle and on time delivery. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully! He was very kind and friendly to speak with. Not only was he on time, but he actually arrived early and had it all done by the time I arrived (after he called to ask if that would be ok). The wood smells fabulous in the fireplace, and as I said above, the way he stacked it is just gorgeous. We will definitely continue to use him and his wood, and we recommend his service highly!

He kept in touch concerning his estimated arrival time and was very courteous. He also unloaded and stacked the firewood without additional charge, unlike most vendors. Will definitely hire again.

Rob seemed nice on the phone and gave me an Angie's list discount ($169 reduced to $150). The delivery guys showed up right on time. I checked on the progress after a few minutes and THEY WERE 'CROSS-STACKING' THE FIREWOOD!!!! I had been burnt by this scam the first time I bought firewood years ago. You end up with half of what you are supposed to get! When I said I ordered a face cord and wanted it all stacked side by side, he mumbled something about the order, and I said "I ordered a face code....that's 4' X 8', right?". He looked at me and said "he didn't know, he was just the delivery person". Which didn't make any sense. A delivery guy delivering wood all day but not knowing what the dimensions of the deliveries are? In cases like this you can't be sure that this is a reflection on the owner, but unfortunately, I don't have time to figure it out so I won't be using this company again.
