We called Crosslake Sheetmetal when our furnace went out. The owner came within a week to give us a quote and recommendation for a new furnace system. They were punctual and were able to accommodate our needs very well. We highly recommend this service in the Crosslake, Crow Wing/Cass County area.

Crosslake Sheetmetal was very thorough in explaining our options for a lake cabin furnace. Karl, the manager, was very punctual in giving us a quote and recommendation. His team arrived within a week after putting in our order. They were easy to work with and very professional in all respects.

The install went very well. It was installed in the crawl space at our lake home, which in itself must have proved to have its difficulties. The two young men that did the job were both hard working and very courteous. They cleaned up everything and even put up sheetrock in the space where the old furnace was. Would not hesitate to call on Crosslake Sheetmetal for anything else we would need done. From talking to Karl, to the office staff to the final step, everything went well.

After we called in a service request, they were able schedule an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Their service techs are professional and we feel comfortable having them in our home to preform the work unattended. The tech was able to identify the issue and fix the problem for us. We have not had any issues since the repair.

They came out prompty, were very professional and patient with my father who is very hard of hearing. We wanted the work done before all the relatives were arriving which they were not able to fit in so we went with another company that could accomodate our schedule and was about a hundred dollars cheaper.

We've used them a lot. They are very friendly and easy to talk to. They explain the problem. They follow up. They are courteous. They just take care of it. You don't have to worry about it. We've used them for the last 4 years. Crosslake Sheet metal is very good and they should give them a call. In this area, they have to be competitive. Things come up and they get rescheduled.

We arrived at our cabin at about 7:30 at night to find the furnace out and the air temp 42. Called CSM&H, with whom we'd preiously done some business, and got "emergency" service repairman who was on call that evening. He had me crawling around in the crawlspace trying to determine what was wrong with the furnace. After repeatedly telling him the furnace was dead, he complained that it might not be the furnace but the hook-up to our security system (which is connected to the thermostat) and that he would charge us 123.00 an hour to come out and see if he could fix it. I said I didn't care what it cost, we were two middle-aged women and it was COLD. He suggested I call the security system company in Brainerd --at least a 1/2 hour away-- to see if that was the probelm. I did so and without complaint or whining the security company's repair guy came right out. After all this wasn't the dead of night. spaceAfter some work he determined that the problem was *not* in the security system. I called CLSM&H's "emergency repairman" again and he asked to speak to the security guy. I don't know how this guy managed to do it, but he talked the SECURITY SYSTEM guy into going down into the crawl and trying to fix the furnace. After 10 minutes of this, the security guy told him, "I've done as much as I know how, here's the home owner." At this point it was clear that only a stick of dynamite was going to get this guy off his ?chair . He complained that he'd have to go the shop, he didn't know what was wrong and fed up I told him we'd deal with it. I got off the phone asked the security guy for a recommendation for a furnace repairman and got one. Spent a FRIGID night at the cabin, next morning got hold of the new repair guy . He was out in an hour and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. Needless to say, I'll never ever use CLSM&H again. The rest of the team, owners etc may be great but this guyhas lost them my business for good. Oh and the charge from the security guy? ZERO.

The service and inspection was done professionally. I was pleased with serviceman's work and expertise and his advice.

Very good. Serviceman didn't waste time. Very professional. Have used them before and will use them again.
