septic tank
+ -1 moreOn a Friday, a contractor was out to mark underground connections to the house. Qwest also sent an individual out to check for phone lines(There were none). When the job was performed, we found the cover still in tact despite the tank being filled with rock. The cover was taken away and the hole filled with dirt. Tom took pictures and registered the septic tank as "Abandoned." An inspector was out later to check. The final bill for the job was less than the original estimate. Probably due to the tank already having rock in it saving both time and materials required.
Description of Work: A sinkhole appeared in my backyard. Opinions were that it resulted from an old septic tank. This work can only be done by properly licensed people. An estimate was given to me for uncovering the septic tank, breaking up the cover, filling it with sand, and topping with dirt.

+ 0 moreAs part of our home remodel, we needed to have our septic system upgraded to meet the town's requirements. Tom Zellmer (the owner) showed up on time (with his son to help him). He communicated well with us, and made sure he understood what we wanted. He was careful, and did a good job.
Description of Work: Digger Excavating obtained the septic permit, pumped out the existing tank, and furnished and installed one 1000 gallon septic tank complete with manhole to grade.
