The construction went fairly well. Good, but not the best builder we have worked with. We have been very disappointed in the follow-up as the turn over has been very high. A few weeks ago, we had significant flooding in our basement causing a great deal of damage (stuff happens). I have been very disappointed to learn that the company uses fairly inexpensive sump pumps, and the owner blew off the fact that the biggest problem was the significant settling that occurred around the foundation stating the the grade "was approved by the city". Very simple customer focused follow up by the builder like just walking around the house to check on settling would have avoided this (they have been building a home right next to us for the past few months, and there are important drainage concerns due to a hill that slopes toward our homes on our street). I believe home builders should not just walk away when the construction is complete, but should demonstrate a little more customer focus than was demonstrated here.
