1st time reviewer on AL. I called Legend Services b/c they are a Day and Night Furnace/AC dealer and that is what I have in my home. Last year another HVAC company installed my new furnace and shortly afterwards the zone system stopped working. That company and another one both said I needed a new zone system($1500-2000). This didn't make sense to me. I didn't do anything since the zone that didn't work was the basement which we don't use often. This winter was brutal and the temperature down there was at 55 degrees. Called another company to fix and he said "new zone system". He puts a zip tie on a damper to keep it open and says he'll have the owner get me a quote for a new zone system. Charges me the minimum trip charge and leaves. Two weeks go by and no follow up from that company. Now the basement is at 75 degrees and I can't turn it off. I look for another company and find Legend Services Inc. I called and spoke with the owner's wife and she said her husband would call back shortly. Sure enough, ten minutes later he called. I explained the situation, nothing urgent, but would like my zone system looked at and if I needed a new one, to give me a price. He got one of his techs out the same day. I explained to his tech that the zone system worked fine before the new furnace was installed and that it seemed unusual that I needed a new one. He spent two hours and provided another temporary solution but said that he had taken pictures and was going to download the wiring schematics for my zone system and would come back another day to see if he could fix it. He returned today and rewired the zone system and furnace. I didn't need a new ZS. The amount I was charged was only 25% of the new ZS price. In my opinion the price was too low(which I told him) and didn't take into consideration the his time researching. His quote was "it was a mystery I wanted to solve". Bottom line - I will do business with Legend Services Inc again. I am buying a new AC and water heater and both will be done by this company. I have not had great luck with HVAC companies over the years but can say this was not the case with Legend. Again, first time reviewer and I hope other consumers find this helpful but my main reason is that I hope this review helps Legends Services Inc - since they helped me.

Very friendly, trusting and informative people, especially Eric. Did a great job!

Called this company because of good reviews online and they were close to my home. Needed a repair quickly. 1st repair to leaking pipe was performed by a very crabby older gentleman, but they were prompt in getting to my home. 12 months later, I removed the wall covering to find mold and leaking. The Fernco adapter between PVC and copper pipe was tightened too tight causing the copper pipe to crack and eventually fail. Called the company back and waited 2 days for a call back. They sent out a different person to inspect the issue. Of course, the new repairman sent said it was the copper pipe being too old so he fixed it with guess what, another Fernco adapter and left some of that "too old" copper pipe in place. If it was bad, I would assume you would replace the entire copper fitting, but they just cut it back further, added more PVC and a new Fernco adapter. To get to the new repair, it required them to cut into a sheetrock wall, which was not even put back together, much less repaired to previous condition! During the repair, I sat and listened to them swear like sailors because one person made the repair incorrectly, so the other person had to go buy a new part to finish. What should have taken a couple hours, took most of the day. Very unprofessional and shoddy work. Don't stand behind their work. Don't use this company for any repair you want to last.

Mike was very responsive and knowledgable. He did an equipment check and realized our pump was only jammed and didn't need to be replaced. He was in and out in about 15 minutes and charged us a very competitive rate. He was friendly, courteous and we will call him for future needs

They were here on time and got the disposal in but it wouldn't work. He said it was an electrical problem. They gave me the name of a company they work with often so I called them. They came out and fixed the electrical and told me the disposal was defective. So I had to buy another one. Ledgend Services came back out and replaced the disposal again at no extra cost! I Love them!

They came in with the most competitive bid, did an outstanding job with installation and clean up. I've had plumbing work done by Legend as well same outstanding work.

I called on a Sunday to schedule the service when my AC Condenser failed. Even though they are closed on Sundays, Mike, their scheduler, called me back in about an hour and worked with me to get a technician scheduled. Eric, the technician, was supposed to arrive around 11AM the next morning, but he actually was there by 10:30. He quickly identified that at least one of the issues was the fan motor had failed. I happened to have a spare motor for it (for complicated reasons) and he went to work installing it. He struggled a bit with the wiring, as the previous blower motor that had been installed by a different company was not the factory part and the wiring had been improvised a bit. After getting it all hooked up the way he though was correct, the fan turned the wrong direction. He made a call to his supplier to verify he had the correct motor -- and he did and then began to puzzle out what was wrong. In the meantime, he ordered a second motor from his supplier and told me he would be back the next day to either install a new motor again or to fix whatever the issue was with the wiring to get the fan turning the right direction. I got a call late in the afternoon that he thought he knew what was wrong, but wouldn't be able to be back until the next morning around 9 to test his theory. He arrived right on time and after reviewing all the wiring again, changing the wiring on the capacitor and the motor started up correctly spinning in the correct direction. As he was double checking, the fan began to spin down again. He quickly identified that I had a second problem, which was this was a two stage fan motor and the switch that controlled it was bad too. When it tried to step up to high in the second stage, the fan just shut down. He bypassed the switch for me and forced the fan to always run in high. This is an old unit and the plan is to replace it soon, so I was OK with not spending more money and time to replace the switch. It'll be less efficient and louder that way, but shouldn't be a problem. End result -- he charged me $175 for the repair. This was all his trip charge and labor charge since I supplied the part for the repair. He spent well over an hour here between the two visits and he also cleaned the fins on my condensor unit as they were pretty well plugged up. All in all, I'm very pleased with his responsiveness and very pleased with his efforts to get things running for me again. I have asked him for a quote to replace the whole system (as it is 20 years old) and if he has an attractive quote, I may hire him to replace the system as well.

They did a good job. They were professional and prompt. I was very happy with them.

Legend services was very responsive and helpful from my first contact. Eric did the repair work and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly explained what was needed, then expertly did the repair. Excellent service from this company at a very reasonable cost.

The whole process was seamless and easy.

The plumber from Legend Services showed up on time and installed a new faucet and cutoff valve for 200.00. The work was done in a crawl space and in freezing temps. I highly recommend Legend Services, outstanding work!

I have used Legend for all my HVAC and plumbing, they are great. Always answer the phone, always answer my questions, and have great availability for scheduling. For anyone that has done any remodeling, this is really important in a project like this. I would highly recommend them for any of the services they perform.

Our experience with Legend Services was all positive; we used them for the first time this summer. They were very courteous, competent, careful, methodical and honest. They were also patient and accommodating in answering our questions. We found them easy to work with and will definitely call them for our future plumbing needs

We have used them for years. They are the best we have every used. They have always come out within an hour or two, nights or weekends. They have been really responsive.

Called and had Pat( plumber) come over to rework some plumbing I had no time or inclination to do myself. I had met Pat on an earlier unit heater install on another property. He was able to do the work the same morning he came to look at it and I paid on a time/material basis. I had already purchased the copper and fittings for the repiping, so most of the bill was for his labor. He also had the specific tools to repipe the PVC drain lines which were in a spot hard to access. He was there over 2 1/2 hours and it looks fantastic and works great since he completed. I was not surprised by his skill or ability since I had used Legend Services before. Pat does most their plumbing and gas piping. Job well done. This company is on my contact list for HVAC/Plumbing needs.

Seamless from start to finish. Called Mike in the office, Eric stopped by on his way home that evening to look at the job. I solicited 2 other bids. Though Legend Services was a few hundred dollars less than one of the other bids, that is not why I chose them. Through multiple phone calls and emails, Mike and Eric were willing and understanding to make adjustments to venting and unit placement concerns I had. They were never anything less than professional. They also are close geographically to the home I was overseeing the work on, which is a plus for me as I like to use local business whenever it's possible. Day of install was uneventful, no surprises and fast!! Eric and Pat had the heater installed, hooked up and running in less than 3 hours. Looks great inside and out and the Modine heater works like it was designed to. Thanks to Mike,Eric, and Pat for a great experience in all aspects. Hoping to do more business with them in the future.

After receiving four estimates from different companies Legend came in significantly lower than any of the other bids for the same unit. Within one week of making my decision the new unit was here and was installed in less than one day.

I had other companies tell me that I needed a new furnace. Eric with Legend Services repaired my furnace and saved me thousands of dollars.
