I am continuing to use Erik for other work I have on my home (Kitchen Cabinet Install, Hardwood flooring, tile work, etc). Erik is extremely responsive, he keeps me informed of what his plans are and when he will be working and what his expected completion dates are. His craftmanship is excellent, I am confident in his abilities to do the work he says he can do. In fact, I asked him about installing laminate flooring and he told me that was not his area of expertise. He is a person of integrety. I will continue to use Erik with future projects. I highly recomend Erik as a general carpenter, cabable of doing multiple projects.

Due to the previous issues, the house had to be jacked up and Erik replaced the wall and supporting structure. After seeing how Erik did the job, it was amazing to see how things are done properly.

He came out and completed the work in one day and on budget. The materials he chose look very nice and the workmanship met all of our expectations. The area was cleaned up after the work was completed. He was professional in all his dealings with us. Based on this experience, we have already contracted to have him back to do a another project later this summer.
Description of Work: He replaced five interior doors and all the woodwork, and put molding down throughout a five-room lower level.

 + 5 moreHe's done quite a few jobs for me including a brand new kitchen. He's done a fantastic job. The kitchen was his shining star. He was the only one who followed up after the bid was given. Not only was he on the mark with his bid, but he recommended ways to save money as well. I have the best kitchen in the neighborhood. During the project, he kept the house very clean. After the job, he came back and detailed and cleaned up even more. His workers were friendly and courteous. They were respectful of our establishment.

 + 0 moreI have absolutely no complaints. He was always punctual on showing up. He always replied to phone calls or emails promptly. He really takes pride in what he does and wants it to look good as well as being solid. Very easy going and did not charge a penny more than originally agreed on for the work he did - even tho it took him slightly longer than he thought. But there were no delays and he worked very diligently. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: We were having a deck built. He met with us and went over the design and offered very useful suggestions - for example we originally wanted the deck level with our sliding door. He suggested a step down as in winter the snow can pile up on the deck and if not removed it will melt and could create some water damage coming through the sliding door area. (I guess that is way everyone has a step down on the deck here, I never knew why). So he helped us with the layout of the deck and placement of the stairs. Suggested materials, and even went with 2x12's rather than 2x10's for the stringers for more strength. He determined the amount of materials he would need and we ordered it and had it delivered. He showed up exactly when he said he would and worked diligently. He was always very polite and nice to our kids who always wanted to watch. He never seemed rushed to finish anything and did everything with meticulous detail. The finished product looked better than I expected. It was beautiful and all the neighbors agree that it is the best looking deck in the neighborhood. We were so pleased we plan on using him again for some interior and did recommend him to a neighbor.
