Joe called ahead of time and arrived promptly. Did a professional job, asked questions on how the unit is working & gave us helpful hints on how to enjoy future use.

Excellent work at a fair price. Joe recommended this unit and it appears to be of quality construction & materials (very havy). This insert has worked much better than we thought it would (Joe did say we would not be disappointed) and we have received many compliments on it's appearance. I did not post this sooner as I was not a member of Angie's List at the time.

The provider failed to show for two appointments. The first appointment we made we had to call an hour after the appointment time, only for the provider to make excuses such as, "My wife changed the appointment to cancelled," and "I had someone quit on me today." This may be the case, but regardless, the lack of communication in this company and with their potential clients is appalling. The owner, having good intentions, stated that he would come at our earliest convenience to do the job himself. After half an hour past the SECOND appointment time, and no call and no show, we called and were greeted with voicemail twice. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

They gave a thorough report, good information. They were easy to work with, the price was fair, and I would recommend them.

Joe arrived early and raring to go. His priority was to safeguard our furnishings before the work began. His equipment was top-of-the-line and he was very experienced with his tools. Unlike all the other fireplace providers we had used in the past, Joe was able to easily diagnose and fix the internal smoke problems we have experienced for years.. Beyond that, Joe identified and helped us resolve all the combustion air supply problems as well, allowing us to continue to utilize our fireplace more, with confidence and safety. We will be relying on Joe and CCC for all our future fireplace and chimney maintainence needs. Furthermore, we will contract Joe and CCC for the upcoming installation of our garage heater. Joe, Melissa, and the entire Custom Chimney Care team will be a welcome addition to your service providers list and a necessity for your proper Chimney Sweeping, Fireplace Design, Installation, Parts and Upkeep.
