The work was paid for upon completion in accordance with the estimate. There was no communication or follow-up except for an attempt to impose an additional charge for work claimed was not contemplated but was not communicated at the time performed or adequately explained upon completion. The hollow area under the front stoop that was filled has been sinking resulting in pooling of water on the stoop after a rain and ice in the winter time There were additional issues regarding workmanship and home paint damage. There has been no follow-up to email communications regarding the issues..

Tyler provided a quote and drawings in a timely manner. I needed my landscaping done fairly quickly, because I was hosting a sibling reunion in early September, and I got quotes in July and August. Tyler managed to get it all done with a week to spare, despite all of the rainy days we had, which caused headaches with his schedule. He had several good ideas for enhancing my project. When I did not want to use some of the plants and bushes he suggested, he provided links to Gertens, his supplier, so I could look at what was available. The bushes I suggested were too large for the space, so I went with some he suggested later. My existing landscaping contained bushes which were too large for the space and were always getting overgrown, blocking the sidewalk. The bushes they planted will be much better. I wanted a variety of daylillies on the side of the house, so I picked out varieties which bloom all summer. I decided to add a daylily garden on the side of the house. Tyler recommended where to place it and how far from the house it should be. I wanted something other than the usual black edging; Tyler suggested interlocking brick edgers, which have worked out well. As part of the plan, I bought an aluminum bench to place inside the garden area at the front of the house. Tyler thought sinking the bench into the mulched area would work. I was skeptical. When it was sunk it sunk further whenever anyone sat on it, so Tyler came and put bricks under the feet, then covered them with mulch. The bench is very sturdy now. Just before they started the work, I noticed an area in the back under the porch which needed major cleanup. Tyler added that at minimal cost. When I was concerned that a couple of the plants did not look too healthy, he reassured me that there was a one year warranty on the perennials, so if there was any problem they would be replaced. I am very happy with the result. I now have new landscaping I am proud of.

We started early in the year looking for a company to refresh the landscaping in front of our house. After talking with several companies, we hired Magnolia Landscaping and Design to perform the work. We selected Magnolia for several reasons, including their promptness, willingness to offer options and alternatives, and because Tom, the owner, took the time to follow up after our initial meeting to see if we had any questions. We are extremely happy that we selected them, and with the work they did as their attention to detail was well beyond what I was expecting. The best thing is they took decades off the look of our house!

It took two calls before they responded to our request for a quote. When someone did come out, we explained what we were interested in doing and were told he would put together some sketches. Three weeks later we have yet to hear a thing even after I left a voice mail asking for a status update. I am guessing they have enough larger jobs to not be interested in ours. If so, he should have just been upfront about it.

Very professional with excellent design for new construction. Designed plan from land survey while lot was snow covered and it turned out perfectly! Very professional crew! Showed up on time and went above and beyond.

Tom was fantastic to work with. We were getting water in our basement, and Service Master recommended that we regrade the side and back yard. We had wanted to do something with these areas for years, and figured that this would give us a good excuse to dream a little on what could be done. The other contractors we brought in just wanted to fix the problem. We kept encouraging them to help us to figure out a plan. Tom was the first contractor who really took in the functional problem and then integrated a lovely design plan that fit in with our 1969 rambler while fitting in with our budget. The crew that they had come out were respectful and even humored me as I watched them work from my deck overlooking the back yard. Their foreman Jarrod answered all of my questions and had a great eye for detail. He even stayed after his crew left to make sure everything was as it should be. We won't know until Spring on the functionality of the regrade, but when they left, we were exceedingly happy with the result.

My Neighbor had these guys doing a massive project in their back yard for months. I walked over to one of the fine gentleman and asked a rough price to have them build a french drain on the side of my home ( I was getting flooding in a basement every rainy season). They gave me a rough quote and stuck very close to it. Got the job done in a single day that same week! There were a few unforeseen issues in my yard and I was quite surprised that they only charged me for materials and the added labor involved. I will use these guys for any and every landscaping project in the future and highly recommend them!

I was very happy that they were willing to do the heavy work andleave the planting up to me. Some companies are very pushy trying to up-sell and convince you that they should do more of the work - for more money of course. I only needed the work done that I couldn't do myself. Magnolia wason time, very professional, removed all the debris and cleaned up well. They gave me tips on how to recover the lawn, plant the berms, and use a specific type of mulch to keep things from washing away. It looks beautiful now!

Everything went as well as could be imagined. We have hired Magnolia 4 times over the years and they continue to over-deliver. I can't imagine a reason we would hire anyone else.

Overall, everything went great! The team showed on time as expected and worked long hours to get the project done. We got Hydro-seed, which takes a lot of watering, but came in nicely. Tom was even nice enough to give some planting recommendations for the space inbetween the boulder walls. Great experience overall and I would highly recommend using Magnolia Landscape and amp; Design Co.

The guys with Magnolia came and gave us an honest estimate. They were courteous and had some amazing ideas for our yard. They arrived each day on time, and cleaned up each evening. They were amazing group that worked hard, but truly enjoyed what they were doing. They helped us learn about our new water feature as well as mulching and the plantings.

Tom and his crew are very professional. He gives a clear, detailed estimate up front. If any changes are decided upon, he provides a new estimate, and has the owner sign off on any expected changes in cost. No surprise invoices at the end! His crew is very professional, works hard, and does a fantastic job. Our neighbors could never believe how quickly all of the work was done. We love his stone and berm landscaping, and the plants he chose are beautiful, interesting, and easy maintenance. Tom was very responsive to any questions we had, and routinely checked in on the work. We have recommended Magnolia landscape to many of our friends.

Tom and his crew were prompt, courteous, and had an amazing work ethic. The weather turned cold and icy as the project began in the fall and they kept at it even in nasty weather. The design and finished project turned out great. We had an issue with our deck and portion of the patio heaving from the brutal winter after the patio was installed. When we contacted Tom, he immediately sent a crew out to correct the patio issue and came up with a unique solution to adding some additional patio stones around a previous deck support beam that had been removed due to the heaving. Tom's crew was incredibly patient with me over concern with matching dye lot of the additional patio stones to the ones put in last fall. While we are so pleased with the patio and look of the finished project, my husband and I are most impressed with the customer service, prompt response, and creative trouble-shooting ideas that Tom presented throughout the last year. I would highly recommend Tom/Magnolia!
