Alpine installed a new floor in one room and did some patching in other parts of the house. This part of their work was good, and the first two coats of finish they applied were also good. However, the third coat was applied poorly with LOTS of hair and dirt trapped under the finish. They came back to fix it but the guys who showed up had to ask us, the homeowners, what it was they were supposed to be doing. Our GC called the supervisor, who called the workers, who came back to make some last-minute touch-ups. This time was even worse: There is still hair and dirt trapped in the finish but this time, they also used **mismatched finish** so that in the middle of our dull-finished hallways, there are splotches of high-gloss varnish. We are really in shock at the poor quality of workmanship here.
