it started out promising, the owner came out the same day I called for a bid and I had the bid in my hands two days later. the job finally came to start and he wanted to do it on saturday and sunday, saying it would be a two day job. right from the beginning he would show up and work a little while, always by himself, and then just disappear for 3 or 4 hours. he left the first day after having torn up the ground outside both my doors and just leaving a huge trench that I could barely get out of into my house. then didin't show up until sunday afternoon but managed to get the foam and backfill down outside my back door only, which was done very poorly. the foam was supposed to be tight to the foundation, and for the most part it was, except in a few spots where there was almost 2 inches between the foundation and the foam! this type of bahavior continued throughout the project, showing up randomly, not calling if he wasn't going to be there, and shoddy work. Part way through i realized that he was backfilling entirely with sand, no top soil at all! I told him this was unacceptable and he had to use top soil...on the top(imagine that). he charged me an extra 300 and some dollars for that, even though he said during the first visit that he was going to use sand underneath for drainage and then finish it with top soil/ Seriously, who wants a sand yard? so, my two day foundation insulating turned into almost three weeks and destruction, poor communication, and shoddy work. I am more than just a little disappointed. I don't recommend this company to anybody, ever.
