Stuff-It Moving & Storage

The storage containers was delivered right on time. Because of an amazing unloading process they put it exactly where I wanted it. It was a high quality, clean containers. We had it for a month. Company very easy to work with. We will use them again!

I would highly recommend Stuff-It Moving & Storage for anyone looking for short term storage if needed during a remodeling project and you still want to have access to your belongings. The delivery system is unique in the industry and allows the pod to be placed in the exact location you want. The unit was exceptionally clean and completely water tight. Delivery and pick-up was as promised on the dates and times arranged. Cost was $159.00 per month plus a one time $69.00 delivery fee and no charge for pick-up.

Dan, the owner, was great. He worked with me to accommodate my ever changing schedule of pickups and drop offs based on my closing dates. He's often not able to answer when you call, but he always calls you back. He generally picked up/dropped off within the window he gave me. I had heard some horror stories about the "Pods" company and how they missed drop offs and people would not have their stuff for days or weeks, but that was not an issue with Stuff-It. A couple things to be aware of when thinking about using Stuff-It (or any other container company, I imagine). -If you live in Minneapolis you'll need a permit to have the container on the street (driveways are fine), and it'll run about $80 and Dan picked it up for me. -They do have a weight limit and it's tough to know if you'll be over. One of my containers was overweight and it was a pain to then move stuff out and into another container. I had packed it all the way up to the ceiling throughout with fairly heavy boxes. Just be aware that if you have heavy stuff, you won't be able to fill it to the brim.

Better than I would have ever imagined! If there were "A+" I would have graded him that in every category!

We had such a positive experience with Stuff-it. Not only was the price right, but Dan was so great to work with. He was extremely responsive and worked with our schedule. The storage container was very clean and in perfect condition. We will absolutely use Stuff-it again for our moving and storage needs.
