Description of Work: Drilled through concrete floors to provide power and audio feeds for a professional sound system

Description of Work: Focus Electric did a ton of work on my small house on the West Side of St. Paul. They were on-time when scheduled and did a great job. Doug, the owner, and Joe, who did the work, were fantastic. They updated the electrical in the house (new panel), updated the detached garage, fixed and added several items on the main floor and basement. They pulled a permit, roughed in a totally unfinished attic prior to the other work (insulation, sheetrock, etc). After the other work was completed, Doug had Joe come back (same person did all of the work). When there were a few issues that had to be addressed after the work had already passed inspection (passed the first time and Joe was here to meet the city inspector). Joe came back out and finished the work. He addressed a couple of other issues and gave me feedback on a few questions I had. For example, he diagnosed the issue with my garage door opener and gave advice regarding a doorbell. I would definitely re-hire Focus Electric for any job. I have complete confidence in them, they are professional and do a great job.

Description of Work: I used them many years ago before there was an Angie's List but I remember being completely satisified and saved their name in case I needed to contact for future work. I don't know if they are the same owners though.

Description of Work: Installed new lighting, installed new outlets, reconfigured existing switches, installed low voltage wiring (coax, Ethernet, HDMI) for TV.

Description of Work: We began working with Focus in early March, shortly after purchasing our home. It is an 1890's Victorian in need of updating and repairs. Focus worked with us throughout the project, updating all the electrical, installing recessed lighting and regular lighting, wiring for stereo, television and surround sound.

Description of Work: Doug connected up various sound system components in my house - numerous in-ceiling speakers and several room controllers to amps and source sound systems in a central location. He also wired certain locations in my house for network connections, installed a few outlets and maestro light dimmers, and installed a professional network and cable connections box in my basement to house and streamline my various electronic connections for sound and video.

Description of Work: He replaced two large florescent lights, removed a third florescent light and replaced it with recessed lighting, and did some rewiring to give us more outlets in the room.

Description of Work: I used Focus Electric Co. They installed some lights and replaced all the lighting switches in my house with dimmers. They also installed a few new outlets and a few cable connectors.
