chimney sweep
+ -1 moreJust to repeat. I am completely satisfied and will use Calgary stove and chimney again in the future as my chimney sweep.
Description of Work: I have a relatively newer airtight wood burner insert in my fireplace. All of the sudden a fire wouldn't burn, and the smoke poured back into the room. I knew something was plugged up, even with a chimney cap in place Mr. Anderson arrived on time and went right to work. He found a glass wool sound proofing that had been sucked off the baffles and was plugging the exhaust. He cleaned the fireplace and stackand attached the glasswool nob so it shouldn't come loose again. He knocked $40 off the price. Cleaned up everything. Very pleasant man.

Description of Work: VERY UNUSUAL SITUATION, HAD MICE BUILD A NEST IN MY GAS FIREPLACE VENT, DIRECTLY ON TOP OF THE AIR INTAKE (VERY DANGEROUS). RAOUL WAS ABLE TO CLEAN THE VENTS AND REMOVE MOST OF THE NESTING MATERIAL. THE ALTERNATIVE WAS TO REMOVE ALL OF THE STONE FROM MY FIREPLACE IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE VENTILATION SYSTEM. THIS WAS A VERY COST EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE AND SUCCESSFUL SOLUTION.
