Peterson Companies came to repair a broken irrigation line that my contractor accidentally hit in the summer. While they were here I hired the guy to move a sprinkler head and was told the cost would be $100. He moved the head but in the process he accidentally cut and shredded a line for my invisible dog fence. I completely understand this happening but, when the guy was finished with the sprinkler head he filled in his holes and trench and just left the wires hanging all over the place sticking out of the ground. Nothing was said to me about this accident at all. I called and left a couple of voice messages with no return call so I refused to pay the $100. In December, someone called me about the money owed. I explained what happened and why I hadn't paid. She had the person's supervisor call me and he came to take a look. He asked if I would pay the $100 if they fixed the line and I said yes. He said they'd be starting work in April and I never heard back from them. They just bailed on me. Had the guy told me about the broken wires in the first place I would have paid Peterson Companies to repair the line because I understand that this isn't their responsibility. But the fact that he just left it in that condition knowing what he did is why I refused to pay. And the way they handled this is why I refuse to ever do any projects with them in the future.

We have a large pond that had shrunk over a couple decades as cattails took over. They cleaned out the edges of the pond and restored it back to its original state. They came in November to do the initial work and then came back in May to smooth out the edges. It was a big job and they did it well. Easy to work with, hard working, very professional.
